I'm Delta. I'm a 1 year old shepherd mix and around 50lbs. If you're looking for an energetic lover boy, I'm perfect! I'm good on leash and love to explore. I would be a great exercise buddy! I'm good with other pups and likely kids and cats too. I am very curious and overall just a happy go lucky boy! My favorite thing in the world is cuddles! Hi, I'm Russ. I'm a sweet Black Mouth Cur and around 10 months old. I recently joined Buddy's House and have been enjoying my time running in the yard!. I'm good with dogs and would likely do well around kids and cats too. I'm a sweet boy and aim to please. I'm on the timid side and can take a minute to get to know you. But, I love treats and I warm up fast. I can't wait to find my forever home. I am working on my crate training, am already housetrained, and a cuddly boy that's eager to learn.

Update on the chihuahua that was left in our care: We contacted the humane society and were told after 2 weeks if she is not claimed, she would become ours. We haven’t had anyone reach out, nor has NoCo. So, this coming Friday, the 20th, she will likely become ours.

We have decided to call her Pip and will be rehoming her. We have gotten her vaccinated and she will be spayed this Wednesday. The vet believes she is around 2 years old and very healthy! She will be available to go to her forever home this Sunday, the 22nd.

We will be asking a rehoming fee of $100 and have an application for anyone interested to fill out. We are in search of a forever home for her and want her to go to the right people. Message us on Facebook or text 970-278-7976 if you would like to fill out an application.

Some things we’ve learned about Miss Pip: she is an absolute princess and wants to be held 24/7. She follows Ed around everywhere and likes to cuddle in bed at night. She is fully housetrained but needs to be 100% supervised when outside (she could easily be taken by birds). She is picky about her food, like many little dogs, but we are trying to find a balanced diet she likes. She is good with other dogs, probably good with cats, barks at new people and objects (but is not overly yippy). Overall, we think she’d be best in a home where she can be with her person most if not all the time.

I'm Sally! I'm a 10 month old Lab/Pit mix and about 45lbs. I was in my home when my owner was killed and I was forced back into the shelter system. I made my way here and am adjusting well. I'm a little shy initially and have had a very rough start in life. I need to be in a home with another pup to help boost my confidence. His name is Archer, but we call him Archie! He has been a foster here at Buddy's House for almost 5 months now. We are hopeful he'll find the perfect family soon! He is a 3 year old 50lb Australian Cattle dog mix. He's up to date on all his vaccines and is neutered. Archie was rescued from Roswell NM in a kill-shelter and made the journey here.

Archie has come a long way since being with us. Initially he was weary of new people and nervous. Now, he's a love bug! He loves other dogs and enjoys playing. He would do okay in a home with older children. He has a big personality and can take a second to warm up. But, once he knows you, he will be your absolute best bud! He loves to roll around in the grass, cuddle on the couch, get pets, and play ball! He's house trained, knows how to use a dog door, good on leash, and good in the car. Archie is a sweet boy, very confident, and loves to explore. Reach out to learn more!
