With last nights frost & tonight expecting a freeze, it’s going to mark the end of the 2025 warm growing season. The cooler temps spurred us to hit the kitchen today for preservation and future treats! We’remaking Macoun Apple butter & Honeycrisp chunky applesauce today. It smells like fall in here!

We’ve certainly had a busy start to fall. One of our goals was to finalize a direction for the bakery & we’ve accomplished that Introducing the A.M.Bakehouse (short for Axis Mundi)! We will continue to offer local heirloom plants & herbs along with all the tips you need for successful growing, but our primary focus year round will be the exceptional & unique baked goods and treats you’ve come to love. Currently we are taking fall & holiday orders via messenger, phone, or in person. Keep an eye out for our online ordering system, we hope to have up in the next week or 2. THANK YOU to everyone who supported us this 1st market season with our new focus!!!

Happy Friday everyone! We will not be at Westport Road Baptist Farmers Market for 9/27 or 10/3 markets. Our kiddos help us all summer so this is a chance to give them a break for some fun fall activities. If you still need your cinnamon roll or cookie fix we are happy to help as I’m in Lyndon/Anchorage area every afternoon & evening.

With the taste of fall weather, we thought the flavors should match. So we will debut our 2 newest items, Blood Orange Cardamom Shortbread & Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal at Westport Road Baptist Farmers Market. We will have your other favorites as well from 9-1. It may be a bit damp with passing showers, but these flavors will warm your soul and brighten the day.

We will not be setting up this weekend 8/30 at Westport Road Baptist Farmers Market. My regular job needs help tonight & opening tomorrow. It just a bit too much to juggle getting set up.

Well, we won’t have any parsley to offer this year. We’ve been hosting about 50 Black Swallowtails and they were hungry. I’ve moved some from the parsley stems to carrot tops to help them on their journey. How many caterpillars can you count in this picture?

Peach Festival this Saturday at Westport Road Baptist Farmers Market, featuring the oh so delicious peaches from my friends at Mulberry Orchard over in Shelbyville. Be sure to stop by our tent for amouth watering Peach-Apple-Ginger Cobbler, featuring Mulberry Orchard peaches.

Come join us this Saturday from 9-1 at the Westport Road Farmers Market for out Peach Festival!! Fresh local peaches from Mulberry Orchard, vendors with peachy treats, games, face painting! PLUS giveaways!!

SCAVENGER HUNT! Four small, toy peaches will be hidden around the market. When you find the peach, head over to Front Yard Homestead booth and receive a $10 voucher to use at ANY vendor booth! (only redeemable on July 26th)

On your way in/out, make sure to stop by Heavenly Hills Bakery and fill out a ticket to be entered to win a basket full of items from the local vendors. (Winner will be drawn at the end of the market & basket can be picked up at the Market on August 2nd.)
