You need to test your dog for glyphosate- once you see they are high, you need to find the source (diet) and detox them. What you feed makes a difference! Where they walk makes a difference.

I tested my dog and found out she had 10x the amount of Glyphosate in her body than what was the maximum level for a 150 lb human. She is only 30 lbs! I detoxed her, found the source and eliminated it and retested 1 month later and the number dropped to negligible. And has stayed there for the last 2 years.

Glyphosate—the active ingredient in Roundup and many other herbicides—has been linked with more severe forms of fatty liver disease in a small human study. In a biopsy-confirmed NAFLD cohort (n=97), researchers measured urinary glyphosate and its metabolite (AMPA) and found higher levels in people with nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) compared to those without NASH. They also observed a dose-dependent rise in glyphosate markers with advancing fibrosis stages (2–4), even after adjusting for age, s*x, and BMI, and the association did not track with diabetes status or race/ethnicity. The study can’t prove causation, but it strengthens concerns raised by earlier animal work and underscores the need for larger, prospective studies on everyday chemical exposures and liver health. For most non-farm exposures, diet is thought to be the main route—another reason researchers are exploring whether reduced-residue or organic diets lower body burden and improve outcomes.

So if you are feeding a high sugar diet to your dogs- one with too many carbs- are you affecting the heart in your dog similarly?

Dog don't experience high cholesterol issues the same as human beings however, the impact of sugar on the body is something to think about. Sugar feeds inflammation.

Too Much Sugar May Be Worse for Your Heart Than High Cholesterol, Study Finds

A large-scale 15-year study published in JAMA Internal Medicine has revealed that consuming high amounts of added sugar dramatically raises the risk of dying from heart disease—even for people who aren’t overweight.

Researchers found that individuals who got 25% or more of their daily calories from added sugar were over twice as likely to die from heart-related conditions compared to those who consumed less than 10%. This heightened risk was consistent regardless of weight, age, s*x, physical activity level, or cholesterol readings.

The primary source of added sugar? Sugar-sweetened beverages—including sodas and fruit drinks—which make up more than one-third of the added sugar in the average American diet. Other major contributors include desserts, candy, and sweetened cereals.

Scientists believe excess sugar may elevate blood pressure and cause the liver to release harmful fats into the bloodstream—both key contributors to cardiovascular disease.

The American Heart Association recommends limiting added sugar to 6 teaspoons (100 calories) per day for women and 9 teaspoons (150 calories) for men. But just one can of soda can hit—or exceed—those limits.

Experts suggest making small, sustainable swaps: opt for fruit-infused sparkling water instead of soda, and reach for naturally sweet options like whole fruit to reduce your risk of heart disease.

So proven in animals and not humans yet.. I will take that and consider it a win if we can use this to help our dogs!

Research from the University of Windsor and University of Ottawa, published in Oncotarget, found that dandelion root extract triggered programmed cell death in over 95% of colon cancer cells within 48 hours in lab tests. In mice, it slowed tumor growth by more than 90%. The effect involved both mitochondrial and caspase-8 apoptosis pathways, oxidative stress, and mitochondrial damage. Compounds like α-amyrin, β-amyrin, lupeol, and taraxasterol played a role. These findings are early, based on lab and animal studies, and not yet proven in humans—consult a doctor before use.
