WEST friends, this is the mama I posted earlier today - I'm calling her a mama because she was clearly nursing babies when she was injured.

She was very pale and lethargic this morning (the video I posted earlier was taken yesterday), so she took a major turn for the worse last night. Today she has been in my incubator and I have been giving fluids, but she continued to decline and just passed away.

I'm sorry I could not save her.

Six year old Finn went to a permanent foster home today! They drove six hours from North Carolina to pick him up and brought their four ferrets with them to be sure they would all get along. One of their ferrets curled up with him and immediately started licking him, then the others curled up with him too. It is a perfect match. I'm so happy for him.
