V.d. Westmark Deutsch-Drahthaar A page for owners of Westmark Deutsch Drahthaars. I strive to breed dogs that are independent and energetic, eager to work with a very strong nose.

Our mother-line is a descendant from the blood line of the famous breeder Max Steinberger of Vom Donaueck Kennels, who's dogs won the Hegewald an amazing five times. Although the Drahthaar is an extremely versatile dog that excels at hunting all types of game, I enjoy taking my dogs out for upland bird hunting most. My personal favorites are Chukar, California Quail and some water fowl.
