When the weather cancels lessons, most people just see a closed arena... but behind the scenes, the real work is still happening. ❄️🐴
Our trainers and caretakers don't get snow days or rainy days. We're out there in the freezing wind, the slush, the mud - doing the quiet, essential, hard work that keeps our horses thriving.
Venus, for example, has a leg injury right now. And even with the weather pushing rides back, our owner is still out every single day making sure her leg gets cleaned, wrapped, and checked. No shortcuts. No complaints. Just what needs to be done.
This is what it means to care for horses...
> showing up when it's too cold to feel your fingers
> putting their needs before your own comfort
> making sure every horse is fed, safe, warm, and cared for no matter what the weather looks like
So here’s to the trainers, barn managers, caretakers, and owners who keep the barn running when most folks are staying cozy indoors.
Your hard work doesn’t go unseen. Your dedication is everything. 🤎
Thank you for loving these horses as fiercely as we do. 🐴✨
