Momma and her 6 beautiful tater tots are doing good today. Everyone is eating great and already getting bigger! Even the little sable runt girl.

Unfortunately the little sable merle runt didn't make it. He crossed the rainbow bridge this afternoon. I was trying to supplement feed him and provide extra heat for him but his little body just couldn't make it like his siblings. 😢 This is the part of being a breeder that hurts the most....losing one despite all efforts.
The little sable runt sister is eating really well and doing good. She wasn't as small as him but she is a close second so we are still keeping a close eye on her too. She actually pushes her way to the milk bar so I have high hopes for her.

The two adorable little runts. The one picture just shows their size compared to their siblings. Not a huge difference but still a difference. We will hold these two back for at least a week before making them available. I want to ensure they continue to thrive and grow. They will also not have their tails docked. Not adding any added stress to these littles.

Everyone is doing good so far. I'm keeping an eye on the two smallest pups, a sable girl and bluie sable /red merle boy to ensure they don't start going down hill since they are runts compared to the rest. Only time will tell. The bluie girl was spoken for before this litter even delivered (the person on the wait-list knew what they wanted if there was one) and we might keep the blue merle girl but aren't 100% sure yet. I will start posting the rest of the pups as available, minus the runts, and if anyone wants the tail docked, I'd have to know by Thursday evening. The runts will not have their tails docked. I don't want to stress them out any and I will not be docking the blue merle girls tail either. I think their tails are just adorable.
