Most people don't realize the cost that goes into having a litter of puppies. If you take them to the vet, like you are supposed to ,and get the right care for the mom while she is pregnant. To have a litter, it costs about $800 before the first puppy is even sold. That's the difference between quality breeding and cheap breeding. X-ray, ultrasound, tail docking, dewclaw removal, microchipped, vaccine’s,vitamins, not to mention if she has to have a C -section , which is sometimes necessary.
