Got the pleasure of grooming one of the groomers dogs who had a hand in teaching me some things and helping inspire my passion today! When I worked at the vet, Courtney always let me sit in on my lunch break or when we were slow and patiently answered all my questions and let me enjoy her company. Miss Isabella is all dolled up and ready for summer! I have been slacking on pictures, but If you need a one on one groomer who can also do pick up/ drop offs if needed, I am your girl. My hours are flexible so I will do my best to work with you and your schedule. If you’ve noticed I’ve been a little quiet lately, it’s because I’ve been taking some intentional time to rest—both mentally and physically. Running this business as a one-person team is my greatest passion, but I realized that to give your fur-babies the absolute best version of myself, I needed to hit the pause button and recharge.
​This break taught me something important: My heart is at its best when I can focus on the "quality" of care rather than the "quantity" of pups.
​As we head into 2026, I am shifting toward a more intimate, boutique experience. To ensure every dog gets that one-on-one attention and "home-style" comfort they deserve, I am officially limiting my daily spots:
​A Cozy Home Environment: No more than 5 boarders or daycare pups at a time.
​Gentle, Focused Grooming: Only 2–3 grooming appointments per day.
​This change means more belly rubs, less stress, and a calm environment where your pets can feel truly safe and loved. I’m so grateful for your patience and support while I took the time I needed to come back stronger for you and your pups.

An Important, Heartfelt Update from Rowdy Dog Retreat 🐾
​Dear cherished clients and friends,
​As the only owner and operator—a true one-person band—of this passion project I've built from the ground up, I am reaching out with a crucial update regarding my business policies. This legacy is not just a side hustle; it is how I feed my family, and I need your support in taking it as seriously as I do.
​Frankly, I am currently navigating the hardest times of my life. I have gone above and beyond to help others, often being overly lenient on payments, with some outstanding invoices dating back over a year. Unfortunately, this generosity has now placed me in a very difficult spot.
​For the financial health and sustainability of my business, my payment policy must change immediately:
​All services (doggy daycare, boarding, grooming, etc.) will now require full payment upfront or upon pick-up.
​No dog will be released until full payment has been received. This strict policy is necessary to ensure the business can continue operating.
​A Necessary Price Adjustment
​I have also been undercutting myself for a long time, especially for my loyal clients. To continue providing the exceptional, personalized quality of care your fur babies deserve, I must make a slight adjustment. Over the next couple of weeks, my prices will be updated across the board to reflect the true value of the work and dedication I put into every service. This increase will allow me to cut back on my excessive workload and prevent burnout, ultimately ensuring I can provide the highest quality care possible for years to come.

💔 From My Heart as Your Groomer 💔

I don’t think people always realize how much it hurts when someone doesn’t show up for their appointment. It’s not just the missed pay — though that matters, because I have bills, supplies, and an employee who depends on me. It’s also the hours I set aside, the care I plan out, and the love I prepare to give to someone’s pup… only to sit and wait in an empty shop.

When this happens over and over, it’s discouraging. This past week alone, 85% of my animals were canceled last minute. That’s a heavy blow for a small business that runs on heart and faith.

I need to gently remind everyone: if you need to reschedule, please give me at least 48 hours’ notice. Without that, I’ll have to charge the full appointment fee. Not because I want to — but because it’s the only way to keep Rowdy Dog Retreat open and strong.

I know God will provide. I know He gave me this calling to love and care for your animals like my own. And I believe He will continue to bless this work. 🙏
