An Important, Heartfelt Update from Rowdy Dog Retreat 🐾
Dear cherished clients and friends,
As the only owner and operator—a true one-person band—of this passion project I've built from the ground up, I am reaching out with a crucial update regarding my business policies. This legacy is not just a side hustle; it is how I feed my family, and I need your support in taking it as seriously as I do.
Frankly, I am currently navigating the hardest times of my life. I have gone above and beyond to help others, often being overly lenient on payments, with some outstanding invoices dating back over a year. Unfortunately, this generosity has now placed me in a very difficult spot.
For the financial health and sustainability of my business, my payment policy must change immediately:
All services (doggy daycare, boarding, grooming, etc.) will now require full payment upfront or upon pick-up.
No dog will be released until full payment has been received. This strict policy is necessary to ensure the business can continue operating.
A Necessary Price Adjustment
I have also been undercutting myself for a long time, especially for my loyal clients. To continue providing the exceptional, personalized quality of care your fur babies deserve, I must make a slight adjustment. Over the next couple of weeks, my prices will be updated across the board to reflect the true value of the work and dedication I put into every service. This increase will allow me to cut back on my excessive workload and prevent burnout, ultimately ensuring I can provide the highest quality care possible for years to come.
