Another Exciting post to brag about this girl and her goats!

Alex took her 2, February born A to Z Wethers to LA County fair this weekend. Not only did she do so well with her 2nd place in the costume contest, Donut her little painted wether won first place in the lightweight progress class, and her black wether Thunderbolt was second in his class. I see big things in her future with these goats! Thank you Alex for trusting in our program, and taking the time to make your goats all that they can be.

We are so proud of you.

The girls have absolutely worked their tails off this week!

To say I’m so proud of them doesn’t feel like close to enough. This last year has been late nights and early mornings in the barn, feeding regimens, exercise schedules, and tons of hard work.

These girls helped to breed, birth, and raise these animals from birth to show. Their projects were not bought, they were made right here on our farm. That is something so special.

Today is auction day! It’s the hardest day of the year for these kids, the day they have to say farewell to the animals that have been their life.
