Meet Honey!

An approximately 2 year old intact female Heeler mix who was found abandoned 3 weeks ago behind our clinic. She's currently being fostered by Dr Weintrob but in search of her forever home. Honey is a sweet heart, she's a big cuddle bug and loves to give kisses. She is well-mannered and gets along well with cats and calm dogs but is still learning how to act around Dr Weintrob's large rambunctious puppy.

Honey has been fully vetted and found to be negative for heartworms and internal parasites. She has been given all of her core vaccinations as well as a proheart 12 injection and bravecto.

If you can find it in your heart or know anyone who might be willing to give honey her forever home please contact Livingston Animal Hospital at 936-967-2273.

KING COBRA
• 🐍 Not your average cobra – King cobras are in their own category and mainly eat other snakes.
• 🛑 Powerful venom – One bite can be deadly without antivenom.
• 👩‍👶 Supermom – It’s the only snake that builds a nest and guards its eggs!
• 😮 Smart and alert – Known for being more aware of their surroundings than most snakes.
• 📍 Found in Southeast Asia – Often in forests and near water.

DIAMOND BACK
• 🐍 Two species: The eastern and western diamondbacks are the largest rattlesnakes in the U.S.
• 💥 That famous rattle? It’s made of keratin (like fingernails) and adds a new segment each time they shed.
• 🚫 Not aggressive – They’d rather warn you than strike. The rattle is their way of saying “back off!”
• ⚠️ Venomous but vital – Their venom helps them catch prey, but they only bite humans in defense.
• 🌵 Desert dwellers – Commonly found in dry, open areas like deserts, grasslands, and pine forests.
• 👶 Born ready – Babies are born live (not from eggs) and are venomous from birth—tiny but mighty!

UPDATE- No one has claimed her so one of our employees has decided to take her in and she has a new home with other pets and kids and is doing great. Thanks for sharing!

FOUND- Female terrier walked into our clinic about 5:30PM last night and stayed here safely. If anyone knows who she belongs to or wants to give her a new home (after not finding an owner) please contact 936-967-2273. Wearing no collar and came in right off 190.
