Today is National Pitbull Awareness Day! Pitbulls can be discriminated against based on the belief that they are inherently aggressive, but that's just a false stereotype. Pitbulls are often placed in the same temperament category as Labrador Retrievers, and have been breed as companion animals for years. We at A&J Dog Boarding have had the pleasure of caring for at least four different pitts or pitt mixes and each one has been a love. We had an incredible weekend with Finn & Percy. Congrats to Percy's mom & dad who got married this weekend🍾🎉💗! The brothers enjoyed running the backyard and getting lots of attention. Finn is an expert on rabbit patrol and Percy really enjoyed himself lounging in the grass.

We had a great weekend with Bridget. She's always a pleasure to host. She loves her walks and patrolling for squirrels 🐿️!

We got to spend almost 2 weeks with Brooklyn. She was nicknamed Brookie-cookie 🍪 and the name fits so well because you'll never meet a sweeter pup!

We got to spend some time getting to know Bridget. She's a well mannered, sweet, and calm girl. She loves her treats and is spoiled by her mom, but she deserves every bit of it. 💗

Buddy got to stay with us for almost two weeks and he had so much fun. He got to see is old pal, Elli, and he even got to spend time at both my house and Jill's house. We tried to exhaust him with fetch, but I think he exhausted us! He has no off switch when a ball is involved. 😅😂

Elli was with us for over 2 weeks and we enjoyed every moment with her. She got to play with an old friend, get lots of sunshine play, walks, and even played with hidden treat toys for some mental stimulation. Elli's favorite thing was sunbathing and napping in the warm sun, my kind of girl!
