Got some new dogs to debut from the Little Rock Animal Village today

Mushu — finally got his big boy card, meaning he is old enough to get out of the kennel AND get adopted. Very sweet and cuddly

Mushroom — super friendly and smiley guy that could definitely be somebody’s best friend

Ellie — cute girlie with longer hair and a very sweet smile. She was a bit scared to come out of the kennel, but loved her yard time and getting pets

Diamond — another puppy that just got old enough for adoption. She is super friendly and loves cuddles

Kara — very energetic and playful and LOVES her treats

The heat won’t last forever, but as long as it does the Little Rock Animal Village volunteers will still show up for the dogs that all deserve it so much. There were only three left without yard time when I got there in the 100 degree heat, and they can’t wait to meet you

Pixie — incredibly sweet girlie. She doesn’t like her kennel and is a bit nervous, but get her out in the yard and you’ll get to see her open up and smile wide

Mazie — poor girl ended up in the shelter after getting surrendered but she is so sweet and ready to land on her feet in a new home

Big Mike — this guy has been through some rough stuff, it seems, but he’s super friendly and seems to like other dogs as well as people. And just look at that smile

Narrowly avoided heat exhaustion at the shelter yesterday, but just found the time to upload the cute babies I saw there

Shadow — super playful baby girl with the sweetest smile. She loves playing and sitting in your lap to get pets

Jewdy — very sweet girl with the most adorable ears and littlest mlem and loves butt scratches

Chonk — poor guy has been in the shelter for a bit too long but hasn’t lost his smile. He’s a very sweet and gentle boy that would love a good home

Helena — another sweet girlie that loves pets and sits so politely

The heat is making it tough, but the Little Rock Animal Village dogs still love getting outside and having fun!

Snowflake — Great Pyrenees are one of my favorite breeds, and he is a great example of why. Pretty big boy but very gentle and friendly; just look at that smile

Bowie — this guy is still a baby and just got old enough to come out of the kennel. He’s full of puppy energy, loves to play, and is curious about everything

Apollo — this guy is a little bit nervous, but very sweet and loves treats and pets. Plus, his coat is very pretty

Prancer — very handsome boy with some bounce in his step. Super friendly and loves running around and getting pets

Oliver — absolute lover boy with the classic pittie affection. Big smile and a sweet heart and loves head scratches

The Little Rock Animal Village has lots of fresh faces for your viewing pleasure, and maybe for you to bring one home too

Kara — happy smiley and playful girl. She’s got a ton of energy and loves to play

Lilah — definitely pretty nervous, but she likes belly rubs and has the cutest puppy eyes

Mya — puppy dog eyes to give Lilah some competition and loves giving hugs

Diablo — very fun and happy boy with a lot of spring in his step and a lot of very positive energy. Loves to run around and play

Very short trip to the Little Rock Animal Village on account of me getting there late and the other volunteers getting almost all of them out, but we have three good babies to show off today

Daisy — sweet but nervous girlie with a pretty smile and beautiful coat. Loves hugs

Mike — big and sweet boy. Loves head pats and butt scratches and running around the yard to play

Hettito — this guy could definitely use a nice bath and some TLC, but he’s very sweet and I think he’ll clean up very nice

There’s always more dogs at the Little Rock Animal Village, and they’re always worth paying attention to

Socks — very sweet and pretty girl with the slyest side eye and silkiest expressions. She sits so well, but likes to run around and play too

Chiquita — one of my personal favorites. This precious girl has spent two months in the shelter nursing her puppies who have all made it out and now it’s her turn. She’s an amazing dog, walks well on leash, is very gentle, loves treats, plays fetch, and melts into pets. Everything you could possibly want in a dog, she’s got it.

Clara — no longer available because she had some adopters come see her today and they are officially taking her home, but she’s too pretty to not show off and if she caught your eye there are several more dogs at the shelter like her that you could bring home instead

It was a good day at the Little Rock Animal Village! All the dogs made it out to the yard and some found new homes. These are some of the ones that are still looking for their new person

Nutmeg — absolutely adorable boy. Very friendly and soft with a big smile

Willow — energetic baby girl. She’s got some growing to do and is very playful and fun

Bandit — goofy boy that will steal your heart and hog the camera

Juniper — sweet boy that’s still working on his confidence and learning that it’s ok to like butt scratches. He had someone come see him today and hopefully will get to go home soon, but don’t let that stop you from going to meet him

There were so many volunteers at the Little Rock Animal Village today, we didn’t have a lot of dogs left to take out when I got there. It’s always great to see the community come out and help with the dogs.

Juniper — he’s hanging in there, but the shelter is not a good environment for him. He’s very scared in his kennel and only opens up a bit after being carried to the yard. He could use a soft and patient home to regain his confidence in

Woody — happy and smiley boy. This guy is super friendly and playful and ready for a home of his own

Hershey* — this girl came in today so she doesn’t have a shelter name yet, this is just a generic chocolate lab name for the post. Very sweet and playful and friendly and would make a great family dog

Boone — this guy is so happy and playful. He loves butt scratches and playing fetch and looking handsome

Fritz — if you follow my posts you’ve seen Fritz before. Turns out he has a broken femur, but one of the volunteers is working on trying to organize some treatment for him. If everything goes well, we might be looking at pulling him to amputate the leg and find a place for him to recover. I’ll keep everyone updated on how the situation progresses and let you know if there’s a way to contribute to his treatment and recovery
