MADDIE’S FALL CHORE REPORT!

So Mom thinks SHE’S been working hard today? Well, let me tell you what REALLY happened!

She’s out there raking, blowing leaves into piles, moving piles, and blowing them somewhere else. And WHO do you think has to supervise all this leaf pile nonsense? ME, of course! I’m basically the farm’s project manager.

Then she decides to w**d her flowerbeds and collect all those delicious little garden treasures… only to give them to the CHICKENS!!!

EXCUSE ME??? What am I, chopped liver??? I was standing RIGHT THERE with my snack department fully operational!

Honestly, it’s exhausting being this cute, this helpful, and so terribly underappreciated.

Now, speaking of supporting the hard-working crew around here… MOM has some brand-new RiRi’s Ranch T-shirts available! They’re cute, they tell our story, and every shirt helps keep all us hungry mouths fed. Just ask Mom for the details!

Maddie's Monday Morning Blues
An official complaint from the goat who knows what time it is!
Well, good Monday morning, folks,
I've got complaints, yes, quite a few jokes!
First off, Mom and Dad's Eagles flew,
But yesterday they just couldn't come through.
A loss on Sunday? Oh, what a shame,
Guess Monday morning gets all the blame!
And Mother Nature, we've got to talk,
You turned off the lights before bedtime walk!
The sun went down WAY too soon,
Who ordered nighttime before the moon?
I mean, even I can tell time,
And something about this just ain't fine!
I'm a goat, not a rooster on a clock,
But I know when it's time to eat and rock!
So here I stand with my Monday face,
Waiting for sunshine to brighten this place.
A little more daylight, a few extra treats,
And maybe some cookies to soften defeat!
So shake off those blues, give Monday a try,
There's sunshine somewhere behind that sky.
And remember, my friends, whatever you do...
If Monday's got blues, just blame it on the humans. They started it!

MADDIE’S SASSY SUNDAY REPORT

Ummm… excuse me, Mother Nature?! It’s 6:30 AM and it’s STILL DARK outside???

What kind of nonsense is this? I’m an early riser, but I’m not interested in working the night shift! Somebody needs to speak to the sunshine department.

First things first… I hope all you little tricksters made it home safely last night! I heard quite a bit of ruckus going on around the neighborhood. 👻I don’t know what y’all were up to, but Mom always says, “Nothing good happens late at night!” So I’m just going to mind my own business… for once.

Now, let’s talk FOOTBALL!

Apparently, Mom and Dad’s famous rooster, COCKY (aka the Gamecocks), won yesterday! I heard lots of screaming, cheering and carrying on coming from inside the house. Meanwhile, yours truly was OUTSIDE wondering why nobody was celebrating with ME! HELLOOOO… I have touchdowns to celebrate too!

But seriously, peeps, let’s not forget what Sundays are really about.

Take a moment today to count your blessings. Big ones, little ones, furry ones, feathered ones… they’re all worth being thankful for.

Life is too short not to enjoy the sunshine, appreciate your people, and eat a few extra treats along the way.

🐐🎃 THE REAL GOATS OF RIRI’S RANCH
The Weekly Review – Halloween Edition

Well, well, well, peeps… another week, another episode of goat drama! 😂

Around here, the temperatures are dropping, the leaves are flying (our favorite crispy potato chips), and Mom and Dad continue to think they’re in charge. Bless their hearts. 🙄

The Chicken Palace has been getting plenty of attention, the barnyard has been buzzing, and the usual suspects have been keeping security, supervising projects, testing fences, and making sure absolutely nobody goes without snacks.

Let’s just say if this ranch had a reality TV contract, we’d be on season 12 by now! And I’m pretty sure I’d be getting top billing. 👑

Now, a little Halloween business! 👻
To all our peeps, furry friends, farm friends, and treat dealers… have a spooktacular Halloween! May your candy buckets be full and your tricks be harmless!

🎃🐐 MADDIE'S HALLOWEEN EVE REPORT 👻🌻
Wellllll peeps... tomorrow is HALLOWEEN! 🎃
I've been doing some serious thinking about this whole holiday business.
Apparently, humans dress up in funny costumes, knock on strangers' doors and beg for candy.
Ummm... HELLO?! We goats do that EVERY SINGLE DAY! 😂
We wear our natural fur coats, make funny faces, sneak into places we're not supposed to be, and politely (or not so politely) demand snacks.
And don't even get me started on the treats! 🍬
Mom says I can't have Halloween candy. Something about chocolate being bad for goats. 🙄
So I've decided to file a formal complaint with the Halloween committee.
WE WANT GOAT TREATS!
Wishing all my peeps a spooktacular Halloween! Stay safe, have fun, and remember...
If you hear something go BAAAA in the night, it might just be me looking for goodies! 🤣🐐

MADDIE’S FRIDAY REPORT
Halloween Shenanigans at RiRi’s Ranch!

Well, peeps… it’s FRIDAY! And apparently, Granny is throwing a HALLOWEEN LUNCHEON for her friends!

Now, I have a question.

At what age does a person officially retire from dressing up for Halloween???

I mean, I’m ALL FOR treats. You can never be too old for treats. But TRICKS??? At Granny’s age??? Shouldn’t we be more concerned about keeping our balance than jumping out of bushes yelling BOO?!?

I’m just saying… I’ll happily attend the luncheon if there’s a snack table. I draw the line at costumes, scary masks, and anything involving me being chased around the yard.

Meanwhile, Mom and Dad have decided that ONE project at a time is apparently too boring.

They have ANOTHER project going on INSIDE the house. This one involves moving EVERYTHING into the middle of EVERY ROOM.

I walked in and thought we’d been robbed by the world’s most organized burglars!

Mom is looking a little stressed. You see, Mom likes things in their proper places. Everything has a spot, everything has an order, and apparently furniture does NOT belong in the middle of the living room.

Personally, I think she’s overreacting.

I have a simple solution:

1. Put all the furniture in a pile.
2. Put a goat on top.
3. Declare it a new indoor climbing attraction.
4. Charge admission in carrots.

But nobody listens to the goat with the business degree.

So while Granny is planning Halloween festivities, Mom is rearranging the universe, and Dad is somewhere in the middle of another project…

I’ll be over here supervising absolutely EVERYTHING.

It’s exhausting being the only sensible one around here.

MADDIE’S THURSDAY THOUGHTS: WHY GOATS LOVE FALL!

Well, hello there, my fall-loving peeps! It’s your favorite four-legged fall enthusiast, Maddie!

Let me tell you why fall is THE BEST season to be a goat! And no, it’s not because Mom and Dad get excited about putting pumpkins on the porch. 😂

1. THE TEMPERATURES!
Finally, we can enjoy the great outdoors without feeling like we’re standing inside a giant oven! Cool breezes, sunshine, and perfect snuggle weather. My kind of living! ☀️

2. CRISPY POTATO CHIPS FROM MOTHER NATURE!
Otherwise known as LEAVES! They fall from the sky, blow across the yard, and magically appear EVERYWHERE! It’s like Mother Nature opened a FREE SNACK BAR just for us goats! Crunchy, crispy, deliciousness!

Mom and Dad keep trying to blow them away, rake them up, and make them disappear. Why are humans always throwing away perfectly good snacks?!? Somebody needs to explain this to them.

3. PUMPKINS!
And I’m NOT talking about those scary pumpkins with faces that Mom thinks are funny. I mean the TASTY pumpkins! Now THAT is fall decorating I can get behind. Put one in front of me, and suddenly I’m the happiest goat on the ranch!

4. ALL THE EXTRA OUTDOOR FUN!
More exploring, more sunshine, more playing with my goat buddies, and more opportunities to supervise Mom and Dad while they do their human things. Somebody has to keep them on track, y’all!

So there you have it! My TOP reasons fall is fabulous. Cool weather, crunchy snacks, tasty pumpkins, and life on RiRi’s Ranch. What more could a goat ask for?

🐐🐓🌻❤️ DID YOU KNOW A SMILE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO AN ANIMAL?

Ever notice how animals seem to warm up when you approach them with a gentle smile, a soft voice, and a little kindness?

Animals can pick up on our facial expressions, body language, and tone of voice. Research suggests that some animals, especially dogs, can recognize and respond to human emotional expressions. Every animal is different, but patience and a calm, friendly approach can go a long way!

Around RiRi’s Ranch, we believe in a little less rushing, a little more kindness, and LOTS of love! Maddi would probably tell you that a smile is wonderful… but a carrot or cookie doesn’t hurt either!

Now we want to know!
