What a year 2025 was!! This year this business really took off and I couldn’t be more thankful, I truly appreciate everyone. When I started up this business I really wasn’t sure if anything would truly come from it but it’s turned into something amazing and a business I’m truly so proud and passionate about with wonderful clients and their pets, who always so happy to see me (I’m always happy to see them too!). I’ve always had a huge heart for animals of all kinds so to be able to provide services for people and their pets it’s amazing. This year I gained the most clients since I started watching people’s pets/ dog walking (started doing that as a side gig when I was 15), I received my certificates degree in wildlife care and rehabilitation and was recommended to so many other people need a dog walker/pet sitter by some of you lovely clients.

This business truly wouldn’t be possible without the love, support and trust you guys have shown! Thank you.

Hi Everyone,

Summer is truly here and so is the HEAT! ☀️

As we enter a season of extreme temperatures, keep these safety tips in mind to help your pet avoid overheating. Let’s make sure all our furry friends are comfortable, safe, and healthy!

There’s an extreme heat watch for the weather this week here in Maine. And we want to make sure you are prepared in keeping your pets safe and cool!!

KEEPING THEM COOL:
•Make sure they have access to plenty of fresh cold water.

• You can make dog safe popsicles, consider freezing some blend up watermelon in a container for your dog. Watermelon can be great for hydration, it also contains vitamins A, C and potassium along with having antioxidants!! (Give in moderation)

•Ensure your dog as access to shade.

• Use cool damp towels for your dog to lie on, this can help lower your dog’s body temperature.

•If your dog is a fan of water, encourage them to play in some water.

EXERCISIN YOUR PET:

• Avoid strenuous exercise/activity for dogs.

•Walk dogs in the early morning or late evening when temperatures are cooler.

•Choose to walk dogs on grass over pavement, to help protect their paws. * Place the back of your hand on the pavement, if you can’t comfortably hold it there for 5 seconds, then the pavement is to hot for your dogs paws!!*

AVOIDING HEAT STROKE:

•Know the signs- such as excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, bright red gums (dogs gums should be a pink/salmon color) and vomiting.

•Acting Quickly- Move your dog to a cool shaded area, offer water (don’t force them to drink) , seek veterinary attention immediately.

•Cooling your dog down- Apply cool water to your dog (not cold ), Avoid using damp towels as that can trap the heat in your dogs. You can also use fans to circulate air.

Keeping your dog cool and safe during heat waves is super important 🐾
