I have a very urgent request for Lorelei.
She is needing to find her furever home asap.
Lorelei came to me in February. The day I met & picked her up she had 4 1-2 day old puppies. I could tell she was sick & not feeling well at all so we went straight to the Vet’s office. Her temp was 105.0. Needless to say the girl’s at Diamond L Vet in Grand Saline got wet cool towels to place on her tummy & Cami & I rubbed her feet with alcohol pads to get her temp down. She was given antibiotic shot & fluids on the spot. She had little to no milk for the babies. The puppies were cold & dehydrated which is the 2 things that will kill them. I wrapped them up in blankets & headed home with them stopping 2 times to do SubQ fluids. One puppy died in my arms while I was driving home & the other 2 died within 12 hours. Only 1 puppy (Tika) survived out of the 10 puppies she had delivered at a construction site in the pile of trash outside the house under construction.
Lorelei & I raised baby Tika together. I bottlefed her & Lorelei cleaned her up & snuggled with her only baby. She would come get me when it was bottle time & then she would watch me closely while Tika took her bottle. I have never seen a Momma dog do this in my 30+ years of rescue.
Weeks went by. Lorelei regained her health & showed me her personality to the fullest. She, at some time in her life, was much loved & knew what love meant. She walks on leash, knows commands, loves to play with toys & is the best cuddlebug out there. Now whether she got lost during a move or wandered off because she was in heat is anyone’s guess. From the looks of her tummy & mammary glands (b***s) at the time it has been noted that she has had several litters back to back. She was found as a stray at the construction site.
I cannot keep her with me. People ask why not. It would not be fair to my own furkids (there are 8 of them & yes they all sleep in the house) for me to bring another one in. My pack has been great with her but Lorelei is possessive of my time spent with the other furkids that have lived here for much longer.
Lorelei needs her furever home now. She was spayed today & I only have her here for a few hours before the rescue where she stays will be by to pick her up. Folk’s it is breaking my heart the 2nd time to let her go. She deserves so much better than a 10x10 with a doghouse in it. She deserves a real home with people that will love her. Please share this post. Please help me find her a furever home.

God does answer prayers! Lord knows I prayed hard last night for someone to volunteer to help & I got a message early this morning from Joyce Engledowl Blalack regarding a lady that she highly recommends.
A phone call later Gretchen Glass stepped up to the plate for this Mom & babies. She will be meeting the finder of these pups later today.
Thank you God for answered prayers. 🥰

HELP! I need a temp foster for these 7 puppies & their Mom. Ann Foster & I are doing all we can with the 3 large Momma’s & 24 puppies now & Im not sure we can find room to squeeze these in. Mom is a wirehaired terrier mix & weighs about 25 lbs maybe. They are located on Abilene, TX.
Can anyone please foster? 🙏

Another late night transport to Hillsboro with 12 beautiful & sweet pups.
Thank you to my wonderful foster/partner Ann Foster for always being here to help me & keep me sane. Couldn’t do this without you.

12 down, 17 to go in 2 weeks. Whew! It has been a very interesting & crazy 7 weeks so far.
God is so very good. 🥰

Hey yall!
I need help. I don’t ask often but I am asking from my heart.
I will be picking up 2 moms & 17 puppies on Monday. Puppies were born 10/7 & 10/9. I have not gotten a definite yes from a rescue yet & therefore will have to foot the vet bill.
The black Mom has 9 pups. One of her ni***es has erupted & she has to go to the vet Monday asap. Not sure of the outcome but I am praying she will be able to continue nursing the puppies. If not I will have 9 bottle babies on my hands. I could sure use some Myenberg Goat Milk powder & Diamond Puppy dry (purple sack) food. The Mom & 6 pups from the Emory Nursing home have cleaned me out but darn they are fat, cute & sassy little things.
I am posting the pics in the comments since I can’t figure out how to add to this post. 🤦‍♀️
If you can help it is much appreciated. Im not asking for money, just help with their food.

It has been a very busy month (for someone taking a break 🙄). I haven’t had time to post anything in awhile but be assured we are quite busy with Moms & puppies. My intakes have been absolute emergencies for the Mom or orphaned puppies.
Yesterday I had a total of 23 puppies & 1 Mom. Today I still have the 1 mom (Nova) & her 7 loveable, huggable & squeezable babies. 16 puppies went on transport early, early this morning (like 1:00 this morning 🥱) to MAMCO in Colorado.

GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!

Well Taz didn’t come home today. When I went to pick him up his surgery area was very swollen & he just didn’t look like he felt good. He is drinking large amounts of water & urine output is not matching intake. He is going to stay over the weekend at the Vet’s office. Monday I am asking for a complete blood panel to be done. He may not be out of the woods yet. (So much for thinking this was gonna be easy. LOL.)
He will also get an xray on his right back leg. There is a small hard lump there. Feels like a BB possibly & it needs to come out.
Bless his heart. Send up prayers for this handsome guy. He needs them.

UPDATE: 8/6/21
TAZ is coming home today. I will pick him up later this afternoon. He will be going home with Joy Hullett (he loves & trust her) where he will now have a permanent home & a real name & family.
Thank you to whoever called in & paid his vet bill! I would have covered it but your generosity helped me to help other furkids. And have I mentioned I have a wonderful Vet & staff members at Diamond L Vet? Without their support I could not do what I am doing. They are loved more than they realize. 🥰
TAZ IS FIXED & COMING HOME TODAY!!!

UPDATE: 8/3
Picked Taz up at Joy’s house this morning. The drugs worked great bless his heart. Ann Foster & Jim Perry helped me get him loaded up in the jeep & off to the Vet’s office Ann & I went. Diamond L has 2 locations. One in Wills Point & one in Grand Saline. Since the vet in Grand Saline had scheduled her day for surgeries & Spay/Neuters we drove him back to Grand Saline to have the surgery. He is there now & I will update when they call me.
Here is the estimate for him today. Not near what i was expecting. Thank you Dr Lowery & all the staff!! Love you all. 🥰

UPDATE: 8/2
Just heard back from my vet. I am driving to Wills Point now to pick up meds to somewhat sedate him enough to be able to handle him & get him to Diamond L Veterinary Clinic in Wills Point, TX. 972-284-9553 is their phone number. We have named him TAZ & should anyone want to donate to his surgery please call the vet’s office directly & tell them it is for TAZ. Until he is examined we will not know the exact amount needed but just a estimate for meds, vet visit, surgery I am guessing between 300.00-400.00 🤞. Either way this guy is going to get help.
Thanks everyone. He may not be a Momma dog(which is what my rescue is mainly for) but he was a puppy once upon a time & was left to fend for himself for the past 3 years. Close enough for me to say yes to a dog the other rescues have turned down. God bless him.

I have called my vet this morning & am waiting on her to call me back. The lady that called me is working hard at catching him. He did go into the xlarge kennel cab yesterday afternoon but totally freaked out when she shut the door. She opened the door before he could hurt himself anymore than what has happened. Chances are slim that he will go back into the kennel cab.
He is on antibiotics & pain meds as of Saturday afternoon. Hopefully that will help until we can get him caught & to the vet.
He is injured, sick, in pain & feral. All of that adds up to a dog that is a bite danger to people he doesn’t know. Hopefully we can get him sedated today if at all possible & to the vet. I will update again this afternoon.

This guy needs some serious help. His testicles are literally hanging out of the sac. See pic. I simply cannot afford to vet this guy on my own. Too many Mom & puppies this month & transport expenses.
I can pick him up & get him to a vet. I am asking for another foster for him as I have Moms & puppies here. Is there a Lab rescue that can take this guy in? He is located here in Lindale, TX.
