We’re pulling this sweet girl from a shelter today and need an emergency foster home. She’s vaccinated and good with other dogs and seems calm around cats (she backs up if they hiss). Would anyone be open to helping us for the next couple nights? She weighs 35-40 pounds and is ready for a break from the shelter environment.

That’s how long Dale has been waiting for someone to choose him.

And somehow, through all of it, he still carries around his favorite purple dinosaur like the happiest guy in the world.

Dale is only a year old. He should be spending his days learning about couches, backyard zoomies, road trips, and bedtime routines — not growing up in rescue.

But here he is.
Still hopeful.
Still sweet.
Still waiting.

He loves attention, enjoys his outdoor time, and proudly shows off his “purple stuffy” whenever he gets the chance. 💜

Dale would do best in a home without cats 🚫🐱, but he has so much love and personality to give the right family.

166 days is far too long for a young dog to wait.
