Look at this good boy! Geronimo is up for adoption. He is 1.5 years old, neutered, up to date on all shots, and obedience trained. Geronimo was part of our 2026 service dog training program, but his veteran Dan unexpectedly died earlier this month. Now, Geronimo is in need of a forever home. When a community comes together to protect those who protect us, incredible things happen. Earlier this month, CBS Atlanta highlighted a critical moment for the Top Dogg K9 Foundation. Facing a sudden, devastating failure of our dual A/C systems just as summer temperatures arrived, our mission of training and housing service dogs for disabled veterans was severely threatened.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to Jeremy Melton (on this - his birthday!) and the entire team at Impact Service Group. Instead of just quoting a repair, they stepped up to completely donate and install two brand-new commercial systems at zero cost to our foundation. This monumental $40,000 lifeline was made possible through a true collaborative effort, with Impact Service Group rallying an incredible network of corporate partners: BHW Metals, Ayers Electric, Mingledorff's, and a Corvant Company called Rogers Mechanical.

Because of these businesses, our facility is safe, our dogs are cool, and we can continue focusing 100% of our resources on pairing veterans with the service animals they need. Yesterday, we lost one of our own in the VDOGS program.

Today, we honor the life of a Georgia veteran, author, and proud service dog companion whose story touched more people than he probably ever realized: Daniel Bryant.

Through his military service, his writing, and the quiet strength he carried through life’s challenges, he left behind a legacy of resilience, compassion, love, and courage. His book gave others a glimpse into his journey even though it was fiction, but those who knew him personally knew the battles behind the words.

His service dog, Geronimo, became not only a companion, but a symbol of the bond, healing, and trust that veterans so often find in these remarkable animals.

He served his country with honor, lived with fierce determination, and will be deeply missed by family, friends, and everyone whose lives he impacted along the way.

Rest easy, sir. Your watch is over, but your story will continue to live on.

Introducing the newest member of the Top Dogg K9 Foundation family! Meet Montana, a stunning black lab from Atlanta Lab Rescue.

Montana has the heart, focus, and spirit of a true hero. She is now beginning her journey to become a highly-trained service dog, dedicated to supporting a veteran in need.

A huge thanks to Atlanta Lab Rescue for the amazing work they do and for trusting us with this beautiful girl. We can’t wait to share her progress as she starts her training! 🐕‍🦺🇺🇸

The sound inside this Lilburn facility says it all.

Dozens of dogs, trained to serve veterans living with PTSD, finally comfortable again after months of struggling in the Georgia heat.

The air conditioning system at Top Dogg K9 Foundation had been failing for years, patched together summer after summer.

But when one local business owner heard what they were dealing with, he stepped right up.

In a matter of days, Jeremy Melton, with Impact Service Group, and his team replaced the entire system, at no cost.

An $80,000 project, donated to a nonprofit that gives service dogs to veterans in need.

For founder Blake Rashad, it’s more than a repair.

It’s peace of mind.

For the dogs.

And for the veterans whose lives they’re helping to change.

Heroes making a massive impact for our mission.

We are shouting from the rooftops (which are now much cooler!) about the generosity of Impact Service Group. Today, they finalized the donation and installation of two industrial HVAC units for our training facility and kennels.

In the nonprofit world, "impeccable timing" is an understatement. This donation ensures our service dogs and veterans stay safe and comfortable before the summer peak hits.

This project was a true community effort. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to the network that supported this cause: Installed by Impact, Ayers Electrical, and BHW Metals, with equipment provided by Mingledorff’s through our friends at a Corvant company called Rogers Mechanical.
