🍎 A Little Piece of Our Family History 🍎

Some recipes are more than just ingredients written on a page l, they carry memories, traditions and pieces of the people who made them before us.

This old, well-loved recipe for Apple Nut Cake has been passed down through generations of our family. The worn edges, faded type and little stains tell a story all their own. A recipe pulled out and baked many times for family gatherings and special occasions.

Made with apples, warm cinnamon and spices and walnuts, this is the kind of old-fashioned cake that fills the kitchen with the most wonderful smell and tastes like something made at Grandma’s house. ❤️

I’m so excited to bake this piece of our family history and share it with all of you at The Family Farm Stand this weekend. I hope every bite brings you the same feeling of home and family that this recipe brings to us.

If you enjoy the tangy taste of apple cider vinegar, you’re going to love the newest products coming to The Family Farm Stand—handcrafted sipping vinegars in two delicious flavors!

🍇 Muscadine
Apple cider vinegar infused with local muscadine grapes for a bold, nostalgic grape flavor, then naturally sweetened with honey.

🫐 Triple Berry
A bright and fruity blend of blackberries, blueberries and raspberries infused in apple cider vinegar, then sweetened with the honey and sugar for the perfect balance of berry flavor and tartness.

Simply mix 2 tablespoons with 6–8 ounces of cold water or sparkling water, pour over ice and enjoy an oh-so-surprisingly refreshing drink! Each 12-ounce bottle makes approximately 12 servings.

Today, we were blessed with these thoughtful messages, and they truly touched our hearts.

Multiple people in our family work in healthcare with the geriatric population, so hearing that our farm-stand food brings a little comfort and happiness to someone during this season of life makes our day and makes this note especially meaningful to our whole family. Your Grandmother is in our thoughts 🕊️

We put a lot of love, time, and hard work into keeping the stand stocked. Notes like these remind us that sometimes the simplest things can bring a little joy when it’s needed most.

The farm stand is stocked for the weekend- and the Cinnamon Rolls are the star of the show! 🤎

These big, homemade cinnamon rolls are soft, buttery, packed with cinnamon-sugar swirls, and finished with a generous layer of vanilla icing. Take one home, warm it at 300°F for 5–7 minutes, and your kitchen will smell like they just came out of the oven! 😍

We also made our new Strawberry Crumble Swirls—soft sweet rolls filled with strawberries, topped with buttery crumble, and drizzled with vanilla icing. They’re fruity, indulgent, and definitely worth the stop! 🍓
