Sad news! After 14 years, TEXAS SLED DOG RESCUE is closing their doors. Thank you friends, for all the northern dogs you have helped in those years, so many dogs owe a big Thank WOO to you for saving their lives!

After 14.5 unforgettable years, we have made the difficult decision to close Texas Sled Dog Rescue.

We are incredibly grateful to every adopter, volunteer, foster, donor, and supporter who helped us save and change the lives of so many pawsome sled dogs. Your compassion and dedication made this mission possible.

While this chapter is ending soon, our commitment to the dogs still in our care remains strong. Salt and Louise, two wonderful huskies, are still looking for their forever homes, and we will continue to support them until they are adopted.

Thank woo for being part of our journey. The legacy of Texas Sled Dog Rescue will live on through every sled dog we helped and every family we brought together.
