2025-26 season was a great starter year for Bru. 4 track we was called on. 3 successful finds. 1 was later reported to be alive a few days later.

Now to train and get better for the 2026-27 season!

New year means new opportunities. This year we are going to train as hard as possible. Bru was just a pup leading up to this hunting season and showed signs of growth and signs of struggle. But we are going to do everything we can to be a good duo.

1 year old! Time flys when you’re having fun! Bru is a great dog. Smart (when he wants to be), playful, destructive.

He’s came a long way over a years time. I wanted Bru because I wanted a tracking dog. Mainly for myself and everyone who hunts are farms. It’s always handy to have that nose incase you can’t find them. He has helped a few times this year and is ready to track more. Slowly working him into this has been fun. We’ve both learned a lot!

Tonight we was able to get out and help a hunter find a doe they took. Unfortunately when Bru found her, the coyotes had done found her and have a feast.

Cold, snowy night and Bru done pretty good. Room for improvement as always but happy with the progression!

We struggled a bit yesterday. Mostly owner error buy not working lines a lot recently and getting him out of shape.

But today we had very limited time to run some lines before a football game so we made the most out of it. Bru wanted to run them and done great in some nasty rain.

We will both get better and learn each track.
