Sadly, we didn’t get the news we were hoping for at Abby’s follow-up ultrasound. It looks like this pregnancy wasn’t meant to be, and she is not expecting puppies this time.
While we’re definitely disappointed, Abby’s health comes first. The bright side is that she is recovering well from her pneumonia, and we’re so thankful to see her feeling better each day.
Breeding comes with so many highs, but it also comes with heartbreak at times. We always want to be transparent and share both the joyful moments and the difficult ones with all of you. Thank you to everyone who has kept Abby in your thoughts and prayers throughout this journey—it has meant so much to us.
We’ll give Abby the time she needs to fully recover and will plan to try again on her next heat cycle. We appreciate your continued support and can’t wait to share happier updates in the future.
