Ursa Major's Gremlin is starting to come into himself. He definitely has the improvements I was looking for out of this breeding. When he is old enough, I plan to breed him to a doe with wider shoulders and a better loin.

I was once told, One good buck is the difference between where you are and where your dreams are. I was always skeptical of how true that really was. While I may not be willing to go that far (yet), I can definitely say I understand what they mean. Here is a visual representation of Ursa Major's True Gremlin's pedigree. You can see the massive improvement from his dam and grand dam. I can't wait to see how this buck matures.
(The picture of trouble is from when she was about 5 months old. She doesn't like to pose anymore due to her long shoulders.)

Sometimes you just have to give them a little time.

For those of you who don't know my pal doe, this is Powder Rivers Atalia, and look at that glow up! Believe it or not, these pictures were taken only 17 days apart. You can really see her fill out and that coat come in. I am very excited to see how she does at the next show.

I have some new rabbits to introduce that are now in the barn.

I was finally able to find some new palominos. Powder River's Atalia and Pip are the sweetest rabbits ever. They just want to be loved. I am curious how they will do on the table in the Tri-Cities.

Hell’s Canyon ZZ Top is a beautiful Californian buck that will bring in many needed traits into my barn. He is a big boy, he was 9 and a half pounds at five months.

Cooper Creek's Tracker is one of my favorite varieties. He is a broken chinchilla. I am excited to have chinchilla in the barn again.

Beat The Heat Show, Moscow ID 2025

I did not have anything showable this time around, so I just brought my main good boy. Let me tell you, he did not disappoint. He took Reserve In Show in the Rex Specialty show! He finally got the big win I knew he was destined for. This boy will now be a retired show rabbit and will just be a breeder. He has more than proved himself around here.

Show A- BOSV (leg)
Show B- BOSV (leg)
Youth- BOV, BOB
Rex Specialty- BOSV, BOSB (Reserve in Show) (leg)

Pinecone Picnic Show Results

This show happened back on June 19th and is now one of my favorite shows. This was my first time attending an outdoor show, and it was wonderful. There weren't a lot of people there, but those who were there were all wonderful. The judges, table writers, and breeders were all just having fun together.

Show A-

Dreamin' Vader - BOV, BOB
Aspen Trail Big Red - BOV
W&T Vienna - BOV
Ursa Major It Goes Around - DQ (underweight)

Moonshine's Saturn - BOB

Rare Breed Show-

Moonshine's Saturn - BOB

I apologize for being MIA lately. My house got flooded, and my computer was damaged, so I didn't have access to my page. However, I will have updated posts going up over the next couple of days.

While we were at the Sandpoint show I got to see a good friend who is getting out of Rex. They were working on shaded so I just had to get a couple before they were gone.

Fluff N Stuff 5B13 is a five month old black Himi buck and Fluff N Stuff 5D31 is a (hopefully) blue Himi doe. (I need to name these guys still.) I am excited to be able to work on the Himi Rex and see where they take me.

Took a trip to Sandpoint yesterday to see some friends and hangout. The rabbits did pretty well considering I only brought 5 and of those only 3 were Rex.

Some notable wins: My Californian doe took BOB for the youth show. My castor Rex doe Cas, took BOV in youth. But the one with all the ribbons this weekend was Dreamin’ Vader, he got BOSV, BOSB, and BOSV. He got two more legs this weekend, which makes him eligible to be granded! I got him registered while we were there so now just to wait for those legs to come in and we can send them in for his grand champion.

I just logged on to add more breeders to my map and realized we hit 150 Follows! Thank you, everyone, for your support. On top of that, the Rex Breeder Directory is at 900 views! You guys are awesome!
