As of 8:30 tonight kidding season for Dusty Lane Fainters is complete. The last 2 does gave us a set of mixed twins and twin buckling. Shocker the boys won again this year 🤦.

As weather allows we will take individual photos of the kids so keep an eye out if you’re looking to add a goat to your home!

We are over the 1/2 way mark for kidding season. My oh my we picked a bad year to offer up our entire kid crop up. After years it all finally has all come together: Structure, Color, Blue Eyes, Moonspots, and mainly polled so far. Look in guys; you’ll wear some tires out finding a set like this!

We are starting at a fever pace. 4 does kidded 7 kids in just over 24 hours. A small disclaimer as we start 2026 kidding:

With some pretty big life changes for my wife and I coming in April (Twin’s ourself) and my grandparents wanting to travel more we are changing our operation up. We have no intentions of dispersing but we will be reducing our numbers of brood animals drastically! So we will have around 6-8 mature proven does available around weaning as young as 3 and aging at 6; these aren’t culls by any means. Many are out of the heart of our lines and going through them it’s honestly hard to make “cuts” when you analyze what these girls have done for us. These does will be proven producers with sound udders, and plenty of life left to make an impact in your program just as they have ours.

One of our stud bucks will be avalible and while he has some age; there is a reason he’s still around. He throws some absolute hammers for kids. Color, spots, you name it he’s done it!

Along with reducing brood animals; we have zero intentions of retaining any of the 2026 kids. It’s going to have to be something really special to change our mind. So if you see one you like let us know.

The kind of maternal instinct we strive for in our herd. First timer Painted Lady laid down and had a mixed set of twins within 15 minutes. Large udder and small teats. No help needed and one is already up nursing. Kidding season 2026 has begun!

Kidding 2025 has begun! It’s taken years to line genetics up and it’s clicking from the looks of it! Tons of blue eyes, polled, and moonspots! The bonus a bunch of doelings so far.

We are behind on posting but it’s been hectic around here. Thursday afternoon we had our first kids of 2025.

Since then we have 6 does that have given birth to 16 babies. A set of quads, 3 sets of triplets, and 2 sets of twins.

We’ll post photos when we can!

Available Kids!! Still a few weeks away from being ready to leave for new homes. Any horned animal can be disbudded at buyers request at additional charge. We’ve had a bunch of requests to leave horns on so don’t make us regret our decision lol.

Each kid is labeled with gender, tag number, horns or not, eye color, and their parents.
