Updates from around the farm. Although operations have been relatively quiet over the past month or so, we are now back in full operation and are accepting new additions. We have recently received two new intakes, one of which has already found a permanent home and boarding spots filled.
1. CJ (Copper Jr.) is a 20 yr old TWH gelding. Thanks to donors we were able to pull him from the auction pipeline and give him a safe place. He will have a long road to rehab ahead.
2. Houdini is a 15 year old Bay thoroughbred gelding who has already found his forever home! Asher(adopters other horse) was so attached to Houdini and they wanted to keep them together.
3. Patches is settled in well with the herd and He’s gaining weight fast. He he the first to meet you at the gate and loves his alfalfa!
We will have more horses coming soon! We thabk each and every one of y’all for supporting us!

Cali update!
In February, we got Cali off the kill pen lot and brought her to the farm. She was doing wonderful but I noticed she was started to lose some weight around June. I made some changes to try and work on it but there wasn’t much change. I noticed she was getting bullied in the field as well. The vet came out recently and had her teeth floated as she thought that could be a big reason for a weight loss along with the herd bullying.
Ultimately I made the decision to rehome her with the help of C&C Livestock because I felt it was in her best interest. I try to help them all and usually have success but she needed someone that has more experience with re feeding. I have heard great things about her new owner and how she cares for her horses who she rehabbed! . I can’t wait to see her glow up in her new home. ✨

❗️NOT AVAILABLE❗️Copper is a 18 year old sorrel Tennessee Walking Horse Gelding we rescued back in February. He was adopted previously but the previous adopter had life changes so he is back with us and available He stands 16hh very stout and big and is an absolute puppy dog. He’s easy to catch, easy to handle, stands for the farrier, stands to be groomed and has a great smooth gait.

❗️NOT AVAILABLE❗️Pretty Boy- Pretty Boy Is a 15 year old black Draft cross Gelding. He stands 16.3 and He is broke to ride and drive. Walk trot canter, backs up, crosses ditches creeks. Beginner safe. Very friendly, easy to handled, stand for the farrier and overall a sweet boy.

Bean- Bean is a 7 year old Black Miniature Horse mare. She’s roughly around 30 inches tall. She is learning to trust again and comes around rather quick. She loves treats and loves to be petted on her face. Gorgeous mane and tail and willing to please. Once she finishes her Quarantine she will be available for adoption.

Nana Ada- Nana is a 26 year old Registered Bay Quarter Horse Mare. She is Hancock bred. She’s been used as a broodmare the last few years. Don’t let her age fool you. She looks absolutely amazing! She is learning to trust again but comes around rather fast. She is very gentle and loves all the attention she can get. Once she finished her Quarantine she will be available for adoption.
