Our mini quackers are getting some outside time today and water to play in. They sure are loving it! They are 2 weeks old already and the temp outside is in the 90’s.

We gave our call duck hatchlings their first water experience, finally got their hatching stink off. Now they are toasting back up.

We got 6 call ducks hatched, well technically 7 but one didn’t make it afterward.

One of the things I love about quail is the silly antics they get up to, especially as chicks. This cute chick fell asleep on the GOVEE hygrometer with its little wing holding it up 🥺🥺🥰🥰

We have added Jumbo Pansy to our covey. They will be in our Hatching Time brooders for a few weeks before we move them to the actual covey though.

We bought some adult quail from a lady who wanted to rehome her coturnix quail. They looked rough and hadn’t been able to dust bath in a long time. The hens wouldn’t let this poor Roo in the dust bath so we made him his own.
