OMG!!! The Bayside Peakes are having a great weekend!

“Today we traveled to the German Shepherd Dog Club of Greater New Haven Obedience and Rally trial at Tails You Win in Manchester CT.

We have been focusing on Obedience and today we entered Preferred Open. There were some beautiful moments but it's still a work-in-progess. I remind myself constantly that this is a marathon not a sprint and we're on mile 5 😁. I still leave with the best dog. Thanks to my winggirl Hannah Surette for always being so supportive. We are fortunate to have some of the best teams in the nation in our backyard and I loved watching them in action today. I learn so much every time.

For some reason, I had also entered Rally 🤦‍♀️. Since we haven't been practicing, I had zero expectations. Well this little firecracker pulled a rabbit out of the hat. She placed 1st in Choice, Masters and Excellent, and 2nd in Advanced by 1 second, all with a score of 100, earning High Triple and High Combined. I believe all of our Obedience focus has clearly helped in Rally.
