This is Mary Poppins, a 1-year-old, 30lb female mixed breed Terrier. She’s an adorable girl who is very sweet but is quite shy. She’s slow to warm up to new people but has made lots of progress since being at FOHA. She walks well on the leash and doesn’t pull. And she loves being around other dogs – they make her feel more comfortable and confident. She’s had several playgroup sessions with other dogs and has done very well. Mary Poppins will need a patient new family who understand that she will need time to get to know them and are willing to go slowly with getting to know her. She would do best in an adult-only home and preferably with a calm and friendly resident dog in the family to help her learn the ropes. Could that be you? Come to meet her! TNR is so important to help manage the population and welfare of outdoor community cats. We were very happy to volunteer at a spay neuter clinic yesterday at the Wi******er Area SPCA. Dr. Rachel Dunn of Loudoun Urgent Vet donated her time and talents to perform 12 surgeries. Great partnership for an amazing cause!
