Carter Creek Cattle Dogs & Nigerian Dawrfs

As of Early 2023 we have decided to put that behind us and move on to do better! We will be adding an AKC registered ACD to our program in 2024/2025!

At Carter Creek Cattle Dogs (AKA Carter Creek Heelers) we previously bred fully health tested ConKC (Continental Kennel Club) registered Australian Cattle Dogs. Very excited to see the future of Carter Creek Cattle Dogs! While we wait, we are participating in performance events with our current (spayed/neutered) dogs! We also breed and raise registered and non-registered dwarf goats (Nigerian Dwarves, and ND x Pygmy).

Oops I never posted these here.

A few weeks ago Olivia finished her TB-II title. The girls moved on to level 3 and Q’d in all runs (in the dark!)
Olivia also Q’d in all of her shed dog level 2 and trailing & locating level 2 runs. She always has a BLAST throwing the antler around while she retrieves.
Josie Q’d in all of her Trailing & Locating Level 3 runs (in the dark!)
Not a single NQ that weekend! I think that’s a first for us!

So excited to do more trailing and shed hunting in the new year!

The pups at a NASDA trial a couple weekends ago!

Josie is SUPER close to 4 new NASDA titles (UL-III, TB-II, TL-II, VL-S)!!

Olivia was struggling. 1/6 Q’s for her.

Rousseau kicked butt and got a High in Trial #1 and #3 in Urban Locating Level 2. He amazes me every time he goes out, getting more confident each time!!

Rousseau and Josie from the NASDA trial last weekend!
Rousseau was 6/6 Qs in UL-II getting 150 points (400 needed) towards the title! He continues to shock me every time i enter him!! Just so proud of my baby boy 🥹🥹
Josie was 4/6 Qs in UL-III. She’s now sitting at 304/500 points for the title! If she would just stop going potty on course, we could’ve gotten this title already 😂
No pictures of Olivia but she got 3/6 UL-III Qs! There was some really hard hides!

Decided to go to a local NASDA trial last minute and only 1 day.
Rousseau earned his Urban Locating Level 1 title in 3 runs! I was fully expecting it to take him 4-5 but he blew me away! He got 1 high in trial and a 2nd place! I am SO PROUD of him!!

Olivia finally earned her Urban Locating Level 2 title! She got a 2nd and 3rd place. Decided to move her up to Level 3 where she did NQ but that’s okay! Level 3 is hard.
