What does your dog groomer mean when they say “I tried my best and did what Fluffy could handle.”?
In Harlie’s case, she’s getting older. Her hips hurt and she’s grumpy. Harlie has a difficult time standing for grooming now.
After careful consideration and talking with Harlie’s owner, we came to the decision that Harlie would only come in for baths and blow dry now, while her mom will do her haircut at home.
Harlie’s most recent bath was done with her laying in the tub and on the ground during the dryer.
At Barkers, we want your pet to be COMFORTABLE and feeling safe.
Harlie may have gone home with some damp spots on her belly and legs, but you best she was feeling fresh and clean!

The Barkers Philosophy

Here at Barkers, our number one priority is to provide you and your pet with an exceptional grooming experience. From scheduling your appointment and drop-off, to grooming and pick-up, we promise you’ll feel comfortable and satisfied with our services.

We use all natural, eco-friendly products. We believe in putting all of our attention into one dog at a time to cater to their individual needs. We are not a factory grooming salon and we specialize in getting to know each dog individually, training them with positive reinforcement to enjoy the grooming process. We DO NOT believe in using aggression or physical force on any dog at any time. Lastly, we strongly recommend frequent grooming and we will educate you with techniques to manage their coat in between grooming appointments to ensure the health and well being of your dog.

We are excited to meet you and your pup! Welcome to the Barkers family!
