Flynn has never walked without pulling his mom around, and she has been working on it for months and months. She’d been using a harness and food to teach heel. That style of training isn’t usually effective for numerous reasons, but it did give Flynn some valuable foundation work. He already had an idea of what “heel” meant, and he clearly understood his release cue, “free.”

Because of that foundation and a little guidance from me during our lesson, he started walking beautifully for his mom in just minutes! The effort and dedication she put into her training make her a phenomenal owner!
