World Bee Day is a worldwide celebration of the mighty pollinator: the bee! World Bee Day is a big deal for us at the American Beekeeping Federation (and we hope it is a big deal for you too).

In the U.S., the honeybee has a special place in our hearts and is a vital part of the agricultural industry.

🐝 Honeybees pollinate about 130 agricultural crops!
🐝 In fact, many U.S. crops, including blueberries and cherries, are 90-percent dependent on honey bee pollination.
🐝 But honeybees also face many challenges, include pesticide exposure and Varroa mite infestation.

That's why, everyday, we work in the best interest of U.S. beekeepers - big and small - so that we all can be good stewards to these amazing, important insects.
