🐾 Foster Dog Spotlight: Titan Lucian 🐾

From skin and bones to silver and strong — meet Titan Lucian, our wise and wonderful senior German Shepherd who has truly earned his name. When he first came to Fishy’s Friends Rescue, Titan was heartbreakingly emaciated, but this resilient old soul never lost his spark. With time, love, and a steady diet of care (and probably a few extra snacks), he’s filled back out into the handsome, dignified gentleman he was always meant to be.

Next week, Titan heads in for his neuter, marking one more milestone in his recovery journey. Now, this seasoned shepherd is ready for the next chapter — one filled with quiet mornings, soft couches, and someone who enjoys the slow, simple things in life. He’s not looking for chaos or crowds — just a kindred spirit to read the paper with, share a snack, and maybe enjoy a good ol’ western on TV together.

If you’ve got room in your heart for a loyal companion who’s been through it all and still has plenty of love left to give, Titan Lucian is ready to be your steady sidekick. ❤️

Dessert Litter Reunion! 🍰✨

Seven of our sweetest graduates — the Dessert Litter — were all reunited for their big spay & neuter day! These pups were born in our care, raised by loving fosters, and adopted into incredible forever families. Today, they all had the same vet appointment (yes, all seven!), so of course we turned it into a family reunion photo-op!

From tiny newborns to thriving young dogs, this moment was such a full-circle celebration for our rescue family. Watching these once-tiny tails wag side-by-side again reminded us exactly why we do what we do — every puppy saved, every foster who poured their heart in, every adopter who opened their home.

Here’s to happy endings, healthy futures, and the sweetest little batch of pups we’ll never forget. 💕

🌭 Spotlight: Hope Louise — Our Little Wiener Warrior

Upon seeing Hope Louise online for the first time, our hearts nearly broke. This sweet senior wiener is coming to us painfully thin—her tiny frame showing the weight of neglect no dog should ever endure. With a body score of just 1, Hope is now beginning her long road to recovery under the care of our team and a loving foster (we’re still securing a backup plan, just in case).

Her journey starts with gentle refeeding, hydration, and health testing—every bite, every sip, and every tail wag will be a victory. Once she’s strong enough, she’ll move into full vetting: vaccines, dental care, and the rest of her “Core 4” essentials.

We’ll be picking her up in the next day or two from her temporary foster and getting her settled into her official recovery foster, where she can begin this new chapter surrounded by love, warmth, and soft blankets.

This little sausage has a lot of fight left in her, and with your help, we can make sure she wins her comeback story. If you believe in second chances (and little wieners with big hearts), please consider donating to her GiveButter campaign — every dollar fuels her healing.

We were contacted by a community member about this elderly small breed emaciated female dog. Can anyone help foster her ? We will pay for her care, vets, supplies ! She just needs a safe place to recover in!
