😔We have received $60 total in donations in the last 5 weeks.. Guys, we are struggling to do this alone. We need your help to remain on our feet while we wait for the animals to be pulled to other rescue facilities/adopted. Please, do not hesitate to reach out if you would like to help.

‼️Yes, we are still handing out dog/cat food to anyone in need. A common misconception is that we spend money on the food that we give away, but that is incorrect! The food is donated to us in bulk from larger corporations and we hand it out to families in need for FREE. This is not a money making business guys. This operation has put me in debt, not made us money. 🤷‍♀️😅🤦‍♀️🤣 All jokes aside, we do this out of the goodness of our hearts. We don’t ask for much in return other than your support in helping us make a difference in these fur babies lives and in the lives of struggling pet owners that need help feeding their fur babies!

😔Ever since we announced that we are being forced to shut down due to a lack of funding, we have seen an immediate drop in support from the community. The ONLY reason we are starting the steps to shut down is because we simply do not have the resources and funds to continue operating as a rescue. This absolutely breaks my heart because I have dreamed of this my entire life and now I’m having to watch my dream slip silently between my fingers. What once was a wonderful reality is now sitting right outside of my grasp. I assure you all, if there is any possibility of keeping our doors open we absolutely will! We have exhausted every resource out there and currently have found ourselves backed up against a wall.

🙏🐾🙏We will continue to operate as a community support resource by handing out dog/cat food to anyone that needs it, no questions asked. Currently, we are still absolutely full. We are at capacity. Every dog/cat here is on a list waiting to be pulled to other rescue facilities where they will continue their search for a “fur”ever family if they don’t get adopted while here with us! This is a very lengthy process and is likely to take around an entire year. While we wait we are still 100% financially responsible for every animal here.

‼️PLEASE READ!!‼️
⚠️We have received one donation of $40 within the past 5 weeks. We are eternally grateful for each and every penny that is donated!! However, we are drowning!! We are trying to stay afloat long enough to get the animals in our care transferred out to other rescues and shelters or adopted. This is a VERY lengthy process. It is also a very EXPENSIVE process. We are still paying for the care of each animal while we wait for transport. It feels like we are loading them onto lifeboats while we sink in the ocean.. it’s a horrible feeling. The hard truth is that the only alternative to the way we are doing things (waiting for spots to open up at other rescues) would mean surrendering the animals to county shelters where they would no longer be in “no kill” shelters. Obviously, I am doing EVERYTHING in my power to prevent that, but in order to do that I need yalls help!! Please guys, help us take care of these babies. Even if this is the last major thing we do as a rescue. The dream of staying open is becoming more and more far fetched as our support from the community dwindles by the day… my heart is broken.

With the temperatures rising we are in need of a window air conditioning unit, stand alone AC or even industrial fans! Most of the dogs we are currently caring for are large (some large AND long haired). This means they get hot FAST. Help us keep our furry friends cool this summer! It will take roughly a year for us to be fully shut down and get all of the current residents adopted/sent off to other shelters. We are still hoping for a miracle. We are only shutting down due to financial issues. IF we are able to find adequate sponsors and beneficiaries we will gladly stay open. We have been in a donation drought for months and are not able to self sustain on my personal income alone as we are completely non profit. My personal income comes from my employment and has to sustain my family, home and the rescue facility as well currently. Unfortunately, it is just not enough. Meaning, we need your help in order to have any hope at staying open! 🙏❤️✨

‼️‼️While we love and appreciate all supply donations, we ARE a 501c3 organization which means we are tax exempt. That being said, if you would like to donate physical items to our rescue, we are more than willing to meet you at the store to shop for said items and save you the taxes on your purchase with our tax exempt ID card! That is obviously not required in order to donate physical items, but it is absolutely an option to help save you a bit of money in these difficult times!

🙏As of now, we are still working towards shutting down, but we still have many animals here to care for until they can be pulled to other rescues and shelters. This will be incredibly time consuming and take approximately one full year at maximum. HOWEVER, I am looking into setting up a fundraiser in the near future to possibly save our rescue. This is a very slim possibility, but I believe we HAVE to try. Stay tuned for news on that! ❤️
