We are in MAJOR need of the following items.

1. Puppy Pads (we go through 10-15 a day minimum)
2. Paper Towels (We go through roughly 3-4 rolls a day, minimum)
3. Dry Cat food
4. Trash Bags
5. Soft Puppy food

Also, here’s a few things that we are not in immediate need of, BUT can always use more of!!
- Kitty Litter
- Dry cat/dog food
- Treats (the animals asked me to put this one 😉😂)
- Toys (once again, their request 😅)
- Blankets (any and all sizes!! Anytime we have a sick animal they get thrown out to avoid spreading illness)
- Leashes
- Collars (all sizes)
- Kennels (indoor and outdoor, all sizes)
- Cleaning supplies (Resolve Cleaner, Odoban, Litter Deodorizer, etc)
- Monetary Donations towards Vet Care and misc supplies.

PUPPIES, PUPPIES, PUPPIES!

Note: These puppies are NOT ready to go to homes immediately. They are still nursing from momma and will not be ready for homes until May 14th-May23rd. There are TWO different litters here. Both mommas were rescues.

1st litter: Ready May 23rd!!
30-45 lbs at full grown estimated
Momma is Dwarf Pitbull/Labrador mix.
Cookie - Female Short Hair
Twix - Male Short Hair
Heath - Male Short Hair
Reese - Male Short Hair

2nd litter: Ready May 14th!!
120-180 lbs at full grown estimated
Great Dane/Great Pyrenees/Boxer/German Shepherd mix.
Athena - Female Short Hair
Calliope - Female Short Hair ..?
Freya - Female Short Hair
Aphrodite - Female Short Hair ..?
Zeus - Male Short Hair
Thor - Male Long Hair ..?
Hercules - Male Short Hair

Just a reminder to everyone that we will have puppies available for adoption mid May!
Currently we have SEVEN large breed (120-180lb at full grown) pups available to be reserved as well as FOUR small-medium (25-45lb at full grown) pups available to be reserved. Anyone that wants more information or pictures are welcome to message us directly! I will post pictures as I can. Time is scarce lately with our list of daiky tasks growing constantly with not only the rescues, but also our son’s arrival coming up very soon!

Large breed pups are a very mixed breed. Dad is Great Dane/Great Pyrenees. Mom is boxer/german shepherd.
4 girls and 3 boys. Mom weighs approximately 125 pounds whereas dad is about 175 pounds.

Small/Medium pups are also mixed breed. Dad is a Dwarf Pit Bull. Mom is Dwarf PitBull/Labrador mix. Both parents stand approximately 18-20 inches tall, weighting about 30-35 pounds each.
3 boys, 1 girl.

Both moms are planned to be spayed shortly after pups are weaned! ❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️

We have a MAJOR water leak here at the rescue. I am making payments to pay off the full balance, but the amount is insane.. We had someone come out and look at the leak to see what needed to be done to fix it and the quote is nearly just as high. Our main water line (underground) has busted and we have to dig up the entire thing and replace the whole pipe all the way to the meter. This is affecting our daily life here at the Rescue as we have to shut the water off every time it’s not in use and take all of the animal’s blankets from their kennels to the local laundry mat. If anyone is interested in helping us out with either part of the bill or even towards the cost of the repair, we would much appreciate it! Also, anyone who knows of an experienced plumber that would be able to help with the repair are urged to contact us. We are completely nonprofit and do well to just pay for the animals and their care as well as normal bills. Adding this to our situation has been extremely debilitating. The pups are only FOUR days old as of today! They will not be ready for homes for, at minimum, 2 months. We have 3 boys and 4 girls looking for “fur”ever homes when the time comes. Anyone wanting to get on the wait list is encouraged to reach out to us as soon as possible to reserve a puppy. These pups are going to be LARGE mixed breed dogs. Miss Delilah was picked up by us about 2 hours ago to receive the care she needs. Delilah will be in rehabilitation until she has reached a good weight and a clean bill of health to return to her amazing new owners! Miss Delilah came in weighing less than 10 pounds. Big thank you to Rosabel and everyone who helped arrange her rescue. Delilah is now resting after getting a good meal and the necessary supplements she needed to jumpstart her recovery. We will have large breed puppies available for adoption in approximately 8-12 weeks depending on how they do with the weaning process! Anyone interested that would like to be placed on an adoption list is welcome to reach out to us! We do have a simple screening process for potential adopters to go through just to ensure all pups are being sent to good homes. I’ll post/send pictures as I can as momma dog is still recovering from birth. Pictures can be expected within 24-48 hours to give her time to adjust. Both momma dog and puppies seem to be thriving at this time! As of right now we are at 7 with no more expected.

Side note: Momma dog is a rescue, but very sweet and has been comfortable enough to allow us in the room with her during birth for any and all assistance needed.

First: Smokey, residential rescue with us for the past 4.5 years. Brought in after being found as a kitten, abandoned in the woods. He presented issues that appeared to be a UTI. After treating for a UTI, he is still having difficulties urinating and now a loss of appetite accompanied by slight weight loss. We will be calling the vet again tomorrow to see about getting him back in and getting an estimate on costs for the visit.

Second: Ollie, he has been with us a little under a year. Brought in as a rescue after his owner passed. Sadly Ollie has cancer and is approaching the end of his battle. We will be looking at either a humane euthanasia or some sort of medication to make him comfortable here during his last days. Once again, we will be calling tomorrow morning to see an estimate on costs for the treatment and euthanasia if necessary.

EMERGENCY!!!!

We need your help now more than ever!! As most of you know, we pay for everything needed for our rescues straight out of pocket. Unfortunately, yesterday we had a scare. Most of you know that I am currently a little over 5 months pregnant with our first child. While at work, I noticed an issue and rushed myself to the hospital. Once checked, we found out that baby is trying to make an early appearance and we are desperately trying to keep him cooking for a few more months at LEAST. With all of that being said, I am on bed rest until cleared by my OBGYN. My amazing boyfriend that has done rescue with me for SIX years now is taking care of all the labor associated with running the rescue, BUT that leaves us struggling financially as my income was our sole source of funding for the animals. If anyone would like to help us out with donations (supplies and/or monetary) we would GREATLY appreciate any and all support we get. Mr. Skyzyn is approximately 7 months old and looking for his “fur”ever home! He is a very playful and fun loving kitty that is used to kids, dogs and other cats. Mr.Joey is officially ready for his “fur”ever home. Anyone interested in adopting this sweet, lovable boy is welcome to comment below or message us for an application!! He’s had a “ruff” start to life, but he has sooo much love to give. Hes very energetic and has a great personality. He’s great with cats, other dogs and kids. We haven’t found an animal or person that he doesn’t get along with. He loves cuddles and attention and listens fairly well. When we got him he had whip worms, hook worms and trauma from a past full of abuse. He takes a little bit to trust people and needs someone who can be patient, soft spoken and kind. He has learned how to walk on a leash and is now kennel trained for sleep. We don’t know that he was ever inside before coming to us and we’ve had to work with him on potty training. However, he’s a very quick learner and has done surprisingly well with the concept. I’d guess his age to be between 2-4 years old at most, despite his salt and pepper look. That is just his coat colors. He is an Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler mix. We’ve had him nearly 2 months now working on his behaviors and health.
