Scally Wags Dog Salon is a full service salon for your beloved puppies and dogs, conveniently located in Latham, NY. We also offer doggie daycare Monday through Thursday for all dogs under 40 pounds. We are conveniently located at 881 New Loudon Rd in Latham and are open Monday-Saturday. We also offer a large variety of homemade healthy dog treats as well as toys and other fun stuff for your pet to love. Check out our page!

Preferred 2+ years of professional grooming experience

Strong grooming skills with a gentle and patient approach

Passion for pets and providing high-quality care

Full-time or part-time positions available

W2 / hourly pay (competitive based on experience)

Are you passionate about working with animals and love keeping pups clean and happy? Scallywags Dog Salon is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Dog Bather to join our busy, upbeat team!

Position: Dog Bather
Location: Latham, NY
Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (based on availability)
Pay: Hourly wage based on experience

Responsibilities include:

Bathing, drying, and brushing dogs of all sizes and coat types

Cleaning ears, trimming nails, and expressing a**l glands when needed

Maintaining a clean and sanitary bathing area

Assisting groomers and handling dogs with care and patience

Checking in pets and communicating with staff as needed

Ideal Candidate:

Has experience working with dogs (pet care, daycare, or grooming experience a plus)

Is comfortable lifting dogs up to 50 lbs

Works well in a fast-paced environment

Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Has a love for dogs and a gentle, calm demeanor

Walk-ins welcome for nail clippings but appointments necessary for grooming to best assure your time. Check out our page!
