🐾 Dog of the Week: Cece 🐾

Looking for a loyal best friend who will always be by your side? Meet 5 year old/8 pound Cece! ❤️

Cece is a champion cuddler with a heart full of love. Once she gets to know and trust you, she becomes the ultimate companion, happily following you from room to room just to stay close. While she may be a little shy when meeting new people, her sweet personality quickly shines through, and she’ll soon be asking for all the snuggles and affection you can give.

This adorable girl loves her toys and can often be spotted proudly carrying one around the house. She enjoys playing and cuddling with her foster dog siblings and has a gentle, nurturing spirit that makes her a wonderful friend to both people and other dogs.

Cece also enjoys daily walks and exploring the neighborhood. New places can make her a little nervous at first, but with patience and encouragement, she’s eager to discover the world by your side.

🐾 DOG OF THE WEEK: POOKA 🐾

Meet our newest Dog of the Week, Pooka! ❤️

At 7 years old and around 10 pounds, Pooka is a petite sweetheart with a big heart. After being rescued from life on the streets, she’s been working hard to overcome the trauma of her past. Every day she makes a little more progress, showing just how resilient and loving she truly is.

Pooka dreams of having a person all to herself. She loves following her foster mama everywhere, soaking up attention, and being close to the people she trusts. Because of her past experiences, she would thrive in a quiet home without children and would ideally be the only dog, where she can be the center of someone’s world.

💕 She loves toys, playing fetch, going places, and walks beautifully on a leash. She gets along with everyone.

Pooka has so much love to give and is ready to find the patient, understanding family she deserves. Could you be the person she’s been waiting for? 🏡🐶

Herbie and Sophie have joined the FDAR Family after being retrieved from the Animal Foundation, where they were among 19 dogs confiscated from a home.

ADOPTION UPDATE 🐾❤️

These sweet souls have officially found their forever homes! Seeing our rescue dogs go from scared and forgotten to loved and cherished is why we do what we do.

Thank you to these amazing families for opening their hearts and giving these babies a second chance that they so deserved. Watching them settle into a life filled with love, soft beds, treats, and safety is the best reward imaginable.

Meet our new Dog of the Week, Yoko! 🐾

This playful 8-month-old girl is full of energy and absolutely loves to have fun. Yoko would thrive in a home with a playful companion to keep her entertained and active—she truly enjoys having a buddy to romp around with!

Yoko gets along well with other small dogs, though we are still unsure how she does with kids, cats, or larger dogs. She is kennel trained and doing great with potty training, making wonderful progress every day.

Her perfect fur-ever home will embrace her playful spirit and give her plenty of activities, love, and adventures to keep her happy and thriving. 💕

Forgotten Dogs is experiencing a puppy-palooza!!

If you are looking for a puppy, look no further: we have a few delightful puppies in need of forever homes. We recommend that if you adopt one of our puppies, please have another young dog in your household for them to play with! These pups are super young and love to have a playmate. 🐶🐶

Up first is little Maya- 💕 This sweet 14-weeks-old baby is full of love and energy! She gets along great with all dogs—even big ones—and spends her days playing nonstop with her tiny bestie. When she’s not busy having fun, she’s the ultimate cuddle bug who loves curling up to sleep right next to you 🐾💗

Meet Opal & Joey — 14-week-old chihuahua/terrier puppies full of fun, love, and puppy energy. They’re doing great with potty training, love toys, playing outside, zoomies, and wrestling matches, then happily crash for naps and snuggles. They’re also great with other dogs in the home and would make a wonderful addition to a lucky family. They can be adopted separately or together 💖🐶🐾

Milo is almost 5 months old now and is a very sweet mild mannered puppy with a lot of love to give. Milo is very smart and attentive and an a few days time he has learned to come when called and sit for his treat. Milo is a typical puppy that loves to play with his human and other dogs. Milo is very inquisitive and follows his foster mom everywhere. 💙💙🐾

Yoko, almost 7 months old now, is the perfect little puppy for an active family. Yoko is potty trained and loves to go for her walks, cuddle (when not playing) and loves her toys. An active family with children or another small dog would be ideal for Yoko. 💖🐾✨

Apollo is a sweet 7 month old boy who wants to please. Loud noises and voices however startle him and he hides and shakes. Apollo loves to play with other small dogs and he is learning his manners and his come and sit commands. ✨🐾💙

‼️UPDATE ‼️ It’s with a heavy heart that we had to let Abby cross over the rainbow bridge today.

She had her first surgery on Tuesday, expecting to pull through and have the rest of the surgery done this week. But unfortunately, she took a turn for the worst.

She was Hypothermic, lethargic, had pneumonia and had a rapid respiratory rate. She was on feeding tubes, IVs and on oxygen to help her stay with us. So we had to make this unfortunate decision.

Carol our Founder was there to hold her and love on her while she crossed over the rainbow bridge 🌈

There is absolutely nothing easy about having to make this decision. She fought until she could not fight anymore. Thank you Gail for picking her up and offering to foster her 🥰
