. • 💛 🐩 Labradoodle Pup Alert 🐩 💛 • .

These six gorgeous 5 month old doodle pups are currently available for adoption at The Animal Foundation, Las Vegas's local city shelter. Adopt, Don't Shop. Save a life, rather than perpetuate the problem of unethical breeding practices

Please always adopt responsibly, which means being fully invested for the life of the animal. That's a potential 12-15 year commitment. And ALL puppies will require consistency and continual training in order to grow to be their best selves. Do your research, and put in the time.

* ALSO, NEVER EVER GIFT PUPPIES!! Pets are a HUGE commitment thus the person responsible for the care of the animal should always be involved in the decision. Let them pick their own pup. Let them be a part of the process. All too often "gifted" pups and kittens end up dumped or abandoned within a years time.

Hi, I’m Houdini! I’m a 3-year-old Chiweenie with a big heart and a little bit of a shy streak. After spending some tough time on the streets, I’m finally safe and learning what love feels like. I’m still skittish and take a little time to warm up, but I promise I’m worth the wait. I’d do best in a home with another calm doggy friend who can help me feel more comfortable and confident. Once I trust you, you’ll see my happy side — I enjoy walks, chewing on my favorite hard toys, and curling up nearby for cozy cuddles. Right now, I prefer to watch my foster family from the safety of my bed, but every now and then I’ll join in on the fun. I’m both potty and kennel trained, and I’m working hard every day to be the best boy I can be. All I need is a little patience, a lot of love, and a forever home that understands I move at my own pace. 🐾💛 Please fill out an adoption interest form to meet me!

Long before the rise of ancient cities or the invention of writing, humans were already forming deep bonds—with dogs. One of the most moving discoveries in prehistoric archaeology comes from the Natufian culture, which thrived in the Levant about 12,000 years ago.

At a burial site in Ain Mallaha, archaeologists unearthed a grave where a woman’s skeleton was interred alongside a puppy, her hand gently resting on the small animal. This is the oldest known burial that directly links humans and dogs, offering rare insight into early domestication and emotional attachment.

Scientists believe the puppy wasn’t merely a working animal—it was likely a beloved companion. Its presence in the grave suggests symbolic importance, perhaps as a spiritual guardian or family member. Physical traits like shorter snouts and smaller frames show these dogs were already genetically diverging from wild wolves.

This grave proves that even in Stone Age societies, the human-canine bond was rooted in more than utility. It was about trust, care, and shared life.

It’s a quiet, ancient testament to a connection that still defines us today.

Don’t wait until the last minute, NOW is the time to prepare! 🎆 🇺🇸 ⁣

While the 4th of July can be fun for us, it can be terrifying for our pets. Every year, shelters across the country see an increase in lost pets due to fireworks and festivities. ⁣

Please keep your pets safe: ⁣

💊 Talk to your vet – For very anxious pets, ask about calming aids or medication options.⁣
🔒 Make sure doors, windows, and fences are secure to prevent escapes.⁣
🏷️ ID is a must – Ensure your pet is microchipped and wearing a collar with current tags.⁣
🏡 Keep them indoors. ⁣
🎧 Create a calm space – Play soothing music or white noise to drown out scary sounds.⁣
