We’re in Crisis — And We Desperately Need Your Help to Keep Saving Beagles
This is not easy to write — but our rescue is at a breaking point.
Right now, we are facing a financial crisis that threatens our ability to continue rescuing beagles in desperate need. We've always been grateful for the incredible support we've received from our community, but today, we need your help more than ever.
In the past few weeks alone, we’ve taken in multiple dogs requiring major medical care, and with veterinary costs continuing to rise, we are struggling to keep up. Our funds are nearly depleted — one of our accounts is down to just $200, which isn’t even enough to cover a utility bill, let alone vet care, food, or the countless other necessities these dogs rely on.
We used to have 48 active fosters. Now we’re down to just seven, including our tireless leader, Regina. Without fosters or funds, we’ve had to say no to calls we get multiple times a week — heartbreaking calls from families needing to surrender their dogs. We want to help them. We should be helping them. But right now, we can’t — not without you.
We're also facing major operational bills — mortgage, electricity, trash, sewage, and costly insurance. These are real, looming expenses that we currently have no way to pay.
We’re a 501(c)(3) nonprofit — all donations are 100% tax deductible. Whether it's a one-time gift or a monthly donation, every dollar truly counts.
