After Pippin passed away in 2024 mom really missed having a blue boy. She had been looking for a bit and saw this guy online in December.

After some finagling and puppy dog eyes Dad was convinced that we could at least meet this guy. SO we all drove down to New Mexico and met his foster mom to see how we’d all get along.

It went great so Mom and dad brought him home.
Everyone, meet Ranger! He’s a 2-4 year old Male Australian Cattle dog. He was found as a stray in Texas. He was very skittish and shy so it took his foster mom a long time to get him to be a normal, brave Cattle Dog

We’ve been well, just busy with life.
We recently went camping and mom & dad bought me my very own camping chair! Stay tuned for some updates.

This is a hike back in September at Lake Marie in Wyoming. Not only is it beautiful, It has some really cool history too!

It was named after Mary "Marie" Bellamy, the first woman elected to the Wyoming State Legislature in 1910. - Wyoming was also the first state to allow women to vote!
Her husband, Charles Bellamy, a surveyor, named the lake in her honor around 1888 while surveying

Our final stop on the way home was Lake City, Colorado. Mom and dad rented a jeep so grandma could go up Cinnamon Pass! They had lots of fun. We got to go on a few sniffs around the campground, but there were some bears wandering around at night. Mom and dad didn’t want us to get scared so they kept us safe by the camper.

After Glacier, it was on to Bryce Canyon! Mom didn’t get too many photos of us here because we only went out when it was cooler. Most of the time us pups got to hang out in the camper with the AC on.
