You could say I was out of the office today.

For the love of dogs like Roxi, please consider refraining from fireworks this year. For a stretch of 4 or more days, she and many other pets like her have to be restrained and sedated just so they don't run away or hurt themselves. She's such a sweet soul. Fireworks are unnecessary; find another fun and less traumatizing way to show your appreciation for our country. Thank you from the bottom of my heart if you've made that change already or will consider it this year! ❤️❤️❤️

I love how spoiled Casey is! Her owners know just what it takes to make her happy: this day it was boiled chicken, salmon, peas, Vienna sausages, and steamed broccoli. This lets her know she's safe to keep lying on the bed for her laser and massage treatments.

I wish everyone with kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins, anyone who knows small children and dogs, would read this and follow its advice! Mainly: don't put your face in a dog's face, ever! And don't run up to a resting dog and try to pet it or pick it up! These are recipes for stressing out even a very docile dog.

Casey girl. Sometimes I can coax her into a lay down on the bed, but she's not the type who likes to stay relaxed for long while she's with me. The lick mats help for a little while but even those don't hold her attention for long. Every dog is different and every dog has different thresholds. I respect that, it's the same with us!

Breezy girl. She does so well lying on the bed and really relaxes for massage and laser. Which is amazing because she is a high anxiety old gal. But her people do a great job of managing her anxiety through behavioral training and medication. So proud of her!
