We are immensely grateful for every donation we receive, but we want to take a moment to highlight some extraordinary items that have recently arrived.

The new beds are nothing short of fantastic, providing a cozy haven for our dogs, particularly our older pups who truly deserve this extra comfort. And those treats! They are yummy and serve as perfect enrichment, adding joy to our furry friends' days. Thank you for helping us make their lives even brighter!

Fairfield County has partnered with DocuPet to simplify the licensing process.

Did you know ⁉️
Dog licensing is required by law in the state of Ohio, and it is also your legal form of pet ownership.

🐾 DocuPet is the first nationwide pet registration network. Pet owners can manage information, add photos, update medical details and care instructions, select pet tags, and make license payments.

🐾 HomeSafe® is the built-in, always-active lost pet recovery service included at no cost with every DocuPet registration. It’s the ultimate peace of mind for pet owners—and a powerful public safety tool for municipalities and shelters.

What methods can I use to renew or license my pet ❓
🌐 Online: New users may license their pets online at fairfield.docupet.com. Renewing users must first activate their account before renewing a license. Automated renewal communications provided by DocuPet will provide account activation directions.

📱Phone: Pet owners may call into DocuPet customer service Monday-Saturday from 9:00am-9:00pm EST and Sundays from 11:00am-7:00pm EST to have a representative process a renewal.

📫Mail: Pet owners may download and print an offline licensing form to complete and mail to DocuPet Corp, 15 Technology Place, Suite 1, East Syracuse, NY 13057. Mailable forms can be found directly on fairfield.docupet.com or will be included with offline pet owner renewal communications.

Ready for some happy tears? It’s time for a —where we check in on some of our former shelter pups who’re now living their best lives in their forever homes! 🏡💕

🐶 Slide (now Waylon) was initially pretty shy with his new family, but he has come out of his shell and is a pretty goofy guy!
🐶 Werewolf (now Wolfy) is adjusting well in his new home, still cute as can be!
