Nebula is a total sweetheart with a big love for her people! This heeler/Aussie mix is an affectionate girl who follows you around the house and is more than happy to jump right up on you for cuddles. Personal space? Not really her thing!

She loves going for walks, especially sniff walks where she can take her time exploring, and she’s always happy with a good bone. She also does great in her crate and goes in easily.

Nebula will thrive with consistency, patience, and a family who understands that she gets very excited for mealtime. She definitely appreciates being spoiled and loved!

She has been great with both teenagers and adults, men and women. She has had a few potty accidents indoors, generally on or near p*e pads or in spots where other foster puppies have gone, so she’ll need some continued consistency and reinforcement with her house-training.

She is dog friendly, 40 #, and 2-3 y/o. She has not been tested with cats. She would love a home with a fenced in yard but an apartment could work with someone who works from home.

If you’re looking for an affectionate companion who wants to be part of your everyday life, follow you around the house, and happily soak up all the cuddles you have to offer, Nebula might just be your girl. If you’re interested in meeting Nebula, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms as the first step. We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. She is spayed, utd on vax, chipped, and HW-. Nebula’s adoption fee is $375 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.

Webley is a very sweet, special boy who needs a gentle, dedicated, and patient human companion of his own. After his original owner passed away, he was given away by the owner’s family, then found abandoned on the streets of Colorado Springs, and ended up in the shelter. He has been through a lot and we will be very selective about his adoptive home to ensure his hard times are officially behind him.

Here are the key details regarding Webley's needs and personality:

- Age & Ideal Home: He is approximately five years old and 50 #. He needs a cat-free home (he thinks cats are toys) and would do best in an adult-only or home with a respectful child 12+ as young children make him nervous. A fenced in yard would be ideal but a home without many stairs is more important.
- Mobility & Exercise: Webley enjoys short, frequent, non-challenging daily walks and car rides. His back legs are a bit weak, though improving. He would do best in a home with minimal stairs and an owner who is physically able to assist him up and down stairs and lift him into a car when necessary. And also increasing his activity level as his weight loss journey continues.
- Diet & Health: He came to us severely obese and is currently on a healthy, high-protein, home-cooked diet with fish oil supplements for his joints. Commercial kibble isn’t going to be a good choice for him right now. He is looking for an adopter willing to continue vet advised home-cooked meals or commit to portioned fresh dog food.
- Behavior & Other Pets: Webley gets along well with other dogs (and particularly enjoys the company of his Corgi “sister”), though he can get overstimulated by larger or high-energy dogs. He is non-destructive and doesn't care much for toys—he simply wants affection, walks, car rides, and food. He is food reactive with other dogs and so he must be fed separately. He also gets vocal and barks loudly around mealtimes.
- Crate & Grooming: Webley is kennel trained and relies on his safe space, especially with a comfortable therapeutic mat. He tolerates baths and grooming well, but he is terrified of nail trims, so we strongly recommend having a veterinarian handle his nails.

If you are interested in giving Webley the quiet, affectionate, dedicated home he deserves, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Webley is neutered, utd on vax, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $425 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.

Leo is a 16-pound Taco Terrier mix with a playful spirit and plenty of kisses to share! If you squint, you can see a little bit of Corgi. We estimate he’s about 18 mos old, although his shelter paperwork lists him as 3.

This affectionate little guy loves being next to his people whenever possible. He loves playing with other dogs. He would love to be in a home with another playful dog who can match his energy! He’s also started learning how to fetch. Toys and ice cubes are among his favorite things, too. Dog-savvy cats might be ok since chase is one of his favorite games, but no cats would be best.

Leo can be a little anxious and is hoping to find a forever home where he can settle in, feel secure, and learn that he’s home to stay. A patient family and a consistent routine will help him relax and feel comfortable.

Leo is potty trained and does well with a routine. He’s still working on crate training, but he has done well staying in his kennel for a few hours at a time.

Leo could thrive in a variety of homes as long as he gets regular exercise, a predictable routine, and plenty of companionship. He seems to do well with respectful children ages 8 and older. He’s still in puppy mode, so continued training will help him learn basic manners.

✅ Neutered
✅ Heartworm negative
✅ Up to date on vaccinations
✅ Adoption fee: $375

If you’re looking for a playful little companion who loves being by your side, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home check, and meet with everyone in the home. Leo’s adoption fee is $375 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.

Thank Dog it’s the weekend! Colin is almost 6 mos old and weighs about 66 lbs. He is a Great Pyrenees Mix. He is searching for adventure and his one true love. Colin is a very smart boy and has already started learning his puppy basics like sit, stay, and come.
As a Great Pyrenees mix, Colin is expected to grow into a beautiful large-breed companion with the classic Livestock Guardian Dog qualities:
Loyal and deeply devoted to his family
Intelligent and an independent thinker
Calm, patient, and gentle as he matures
Naturally watchful without being aggressive
Thrives with room to explore and a purpose—whether that’s watching over livestock, a family, or simply keeping an eye on the people he loves most.
Like all LGD puppies, Colin will thrive with positive training, continued socialization, and a family that understands giant breeds. He’ll bring plenty of puppy playfulness today while growing into the steady, affectionate companion Great Pyrenees are so well known for. Six ft secure fencing or secure livestock enclosures or fencing please and children 8+ may be considered.
If you’re looking for a best friend who loves both adventure and quiet cuddle time, Colin may just steal your heart. Ruby is a sweet, affectionate 3-year-old mixed-breed shortie girl weighing around 37 lbs. She’s friendly, playful, and loves being close to her people! She’s a little shadow who enjoys following her humans around, cuddling, and getting lots of attention.

Ruby is generally calm and quiet indoors but also has a playful, energetic side. She loves running around the yard, relaxing in the sunshine, and sniffing her way through walks.

Ruby is potty trained and does well with a regular routine. She’s been friendly and somewhat submissive with other dogs, though she can get excited and may do best with dogs who aren’t overly rowdy and closer to her size. Cats and kids are unknown but she should be ok with kids 10+ due to her sweet demeanor.

She’s still learning some manners, including not jumping on people and furniture, and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training and/or a basic manners class.

Ruby has lots of love to give and would thrive in a home where she gets plenty of affection, companionship, and playtime. If you are interested in meeting Ruby, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Ruby is spayed, utd on vax, chipped, and HW-. Her adoption fee is $350 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.

Meet Ladybug! She is a 6-year-old, approx. 35 # Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog/Corgi mix. This soft and sensitive girl is looking for the perfect safe home where she can shine.

When Ladybug is in a situation where she feels secure, she is the perfect companion. She is very sweet and loves being petted and cuddled. She capers around and plays with her toys, and she loves a good fetch session outside. When she gets excited, her little white-tufted bunny tail goes a million miles per hour! She likes a good walk and doesn't pull on the leash. She is calm and quiet, and if you have things to do, she is happy to take a little nap and leave you to it. She is very intelligent and learns new things quickly. She's great in the house - no accidents and she doesn't get into mischief. She enjoys sleeping on the big bed. If her home is peaceful, Lady is peaceful and happy.

The twist is, when things are new, stressful or scary for Ladybug, she gets big feelings. This might mean she reacts out of fear, and she might try to nip. One of her big fears is children. She used to live with toddlers and it was extremely stressful for her, to the point where she lashed out at one of the children and could no longer live with that family. If she hears a small child on the television, she starts to cry and get very nervous. She is also very sensitive to emotion, so any house where there is a lot of fighting or stress may exacerbate her issues. For this reason, it is very, very important that Lady go to a peaceful home with no exposure to children whatsoever.

New situations and objects can be scary for Ladybug. Positive reinforcement is important for any dog, but for Lady, she will need to have slow and gentle introductions to anything new and she may react badly to negative treatment. New friends will take a little extra time for her, and strange men will take even more time, so it is very important Ladybug has a female caretaker in her home. She also has a fine and fluffy coat (like hugging a cloud!) that will take more than average effort to groom, so her ideal person will be willing to put in the time (or financially commit) to keep her looking extra beautiful.

Ladybug has lived with another dog friend in the past, and would probably do well with another quiet, calm dog after a slow introduction. She has also lived with cats. She's spayed, up to date with vaccinations, chipped, and is heartworm negative. She requires a fenced yard for fetch and likes having her people out in the yard with her while she snoops around. She doesn't like the crate and is nervous about baby gates but has been trustworthy in the house.

If you are the patient, experienced person who can ease Ladybug's fears and provide her with a secure, calm, childless, and stable home, you will be rewarded with the companionship of an absolutely great dog. Her love and loyalty shine through every day, and when she is happy (which, when things are chill, is basically all of the time) she will bring you so much joy and be the best friend you could have. The right home will have a true gem with Lady.

If you are interested in meeting Ladybug, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Lady's adoption fee is $325 and we do not adopt outside CO.

Thank Dog it’s the weekend! Meet Kit (aka KitKat). At just 6-7 months old and 34 #, this Corgi (and possible Shepherd) mix is a sweet, gregarious puppy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. KitKat is trusting, super affectionate, and never says no to a good belly rub!

The Highlights:
Social Butterfly: Great with dogs of all sizes.
Curious About Cats: Needs more training, currently thinks they are something to chase.
Playtime Enthusiast: Loves to run, play, chase, and surround himself with as many toys as possible. Very springy puppy!
Routine Ready: Already crate/kennel trained! Warning - He likes to “sing” (howl) himself to sleep but eventually settles down.
What He’s Working On: Like any young pup, KitKat is still learning his big boy manners. He’s currently working on potty training, curbing his puppy jumping and keeping his paws on the ground when he is excited, and learning what is (and isn't) a chew toy.

Ideal Match:
KitKat needs a patient, positive-reinforcement-focused person / family who can keep up with his fun energy and give him the attention and guidance he needs to grow into his best self. A fenced in yard is required and respectful kids 10+ may be considered. If you're looking for a loving, adventurous sidekick, you can complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Kit is neutered, utd on vaccs, HW-, and chipped. His adoption fee is $425 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.
