And here we have Turco another senior who is living out his days as " our ranch dog" When customers are not coming and going, he roams free. Here is one of his "cool spots" that allows him to dunk his head under the dripping faucet. He is genuinely living the life he wants. He likes his freedom and he seems to appreciate the safety of being off the " streets of Clearlake" fending for himself. He is so big and old and cute that he makes us smile and laugh always.

I adore senior dogs. River is so chill. He has a quieter space in the kennel and he gets to look out and see the field and Mt Konocti. I actually call these two kennels " the alzheimer kennels" the senior dogs really prefer them. River is 14 anf thr best boy.

Dogs being dogs, they all have their fun little things that they like to do. The are all happy and content. I have young dogs, ( 4 months) I have old dogs( 14) and everything in between. Little dogs, big dogs, purebred dogs, mutts I love them all. Thank you to my customers for sharing them with me.

Beautiful Bruno is back AND he brought his new baby brother Wall-e. The puppy is just the sweetest. One half Dachshund, 1/4 Frenchie and 1/4 Chihuahua. They come from a great home. I think dogs rule at their house! Bruno is the dog that was originally abandoned at my kennel, the only time that ever happened.

Sedah comes to see me several times a year. Her parents make her kennel into princess palace with extra cushions, crate etc. She is probably the most polite and well trained dog that I board. She clearly would rather be with her people but she knows she has to be here and is a perfect lady.
