Today is a sad day. We said goodbye to Duke (Dookie) today. He developed scar tissue at the site of the surgery creating a stricture and therefore another blockage. He was a fighter and he tried so hard, we tried with him. We may not have had him long here at the rescue, but we loved him and put our all into him.

Duke (Dookie) continues to be our most expensive ferret ever. 🤣🤣 He had a reaction to the sutures the other day and his incision opened. He had to go back under and explore resutured. However, he is still giving us hell and enjoying a bit more freedom. ❤️❤️

Duke is relaxing here with mommy, after another very long day at our amazing vet, . Duke was healing up great, however had a reaction to the stitches and his incision reopened. Duke spent today getting re-opened and re-stitched. May this please be the end of this chapter.
He already was our most expensive ferret, he is doubly so now. 🤣🤣

Unfortunately, another rescue has closed its doors. Not me.I'm still here and i'm gonna be here for a long time but The lack of support will inevitably lead to the demise of more rescues. I urge you to select a rescue you are passionate about and commit to sending them a bag of puppy pads or food on a monthly basis, or participate in a single $5 Friday donation each month. If financial constraints are a challenge, consider forgoing a non-essential item, such as a cup of coffee, to support the cause and help animals in need, imit is essential to recognize that rescues cannot operate solely on good intentions and prayers.

Pick a rescue you love and commit something to them .So they can continue to save lives♡

We need you the same way that they need us

Just consider this if every single person committed to sending.For example, my rescue one dollar a month that would be over a thousand dollars , like, and nobody would even notice they were even making a donation! Together we can save them all
