This is Titan. He is a 6-year-old Great Pyrenees Foxhound mix. He is microchipped and up to date on shots. He would be best in a home without cats. He loves older kids and teens. He will have a rehoming fee.

It’s not often that people come to our page defending declawing, a procedure widely recognized as animal cruelty and linked to lifelong suffering in cats. Every so often, though, we do get repeat commenters with fake profiles who insist banning declawing will increase euthanasia numbers, yet they refuse to provide any REAL data to support that opinion. If that evidence exists, it should be straightforward to share—especially with the major veterinary and animal welfare organizations working on legislation, who could evaluate it directly.

At the same time, there are simple, humane and effective alternatives already widely used: regular nail trims, scratching posts, Soft Paws, and practical management like using a towel or blanket when a cat is on a lap. Also animal cruelty should NEVER be acceptable.

In the end, if declawing truly has the outcomes being claimed, the data should be easy to produce and this conversation would move forward quickly toward solutions rather than circular arguments.

"oh I am but I'm also smart enough to not bang my head against a brick wall of brainwashed by biased filter based polls and "scientific" reports that amazingly , and not surprising at all, are done by those that fully support more pets being euthanized to further their own agenda.
Thats the difference.
I do want declawing made illegal but only AFTER the population is at least heading in the right direction.
You want declawing made illegal now and to hell with the side effect outcomes.
You've never explained where the cats will go that are adopted every day by people that medically can't be scratched so they declaw.
You've never explained where the cats will go that are adopted every day by people that just have a preference to declaw their cats.
That's tens of thousands of cats if not more every year.
With every shelter, every rescue over capacity where will those cats go ? "

Hi everyone! Since we are an official 501(c)3 nonprofit rescue, we rely solely on donations as well as our own income to fund all rescues! We now have an official PayPal for anyone that is considering donating and we are waiting to be approved for their nonprofit giving fund❤️ Anything and everything helps! We currently have 3 kittens in foster homes, as well as 10 kittens in our own care, and not including all our adult rescues and TNRing.
