This pet detective must understand that most residents in this town are unfamiliar with the correct terminology or jargon for a "pet detective." In this post, she aims to educate, yet fails to see that most people often mention the first thing that pops into their minds. When someone uses the term "tracker," it's simply because that's what came to mind first. I believe this post is being overly critical, especially considering the local target audience. Essentially, they are being too particular. It's perfectly fine to educate others, but it shouldn't be taken to heart if someone opts to use the word “tracker” or anything similar. You understand what they're trying to convey. There's no reason to be so picky.

This is the outcome when a community unites and prayers are anwered! Huge shoutout to Nikki and her husband from Lake Havasu Canine Rescue for their expertise and generous efforts in trying to find Lola. They put in so much hard work without any complaints. Lola's owner never lost hope and did everything she could to locate her beloved pet! Huge shoutout to the wonderful people who found Lola and brought her to safety. 👏

To the skeptics and self-proclaimed Pet Recovery folks in town; I hope you can find it in yourselves to show more empathy towards the pet owners of lost pets and more respect to other pet recovery people, without seeking control or recognition. That type of Pet Recovery attitude is unnecessary nor invited!

Smooch and I assisted in the search for Jetty this morning, but we had to end it early due to the high temperatures. However, Smooch was able to determine the direction in which the dog had gone. I had suggested early morning to the owner to place scent items on their front porch, so they put out their worn clothes and the dog's bedding. After helping them with flyers, I went home to check on my own dogs, while the owner and her son put up bright neon posters and more flyers. An hour later, I received a text saying that when they returned from putting up the posters, their dog was waiting at their front door. The dog had been missing for about 14 hours. This is a positive result of an owner who listens to advice, takes action, and follows through. It can be frustrating when owners of lost dogs refuse to follow the advice given to help find their pet.

Please spread the word for this lost dog. Jetty was LOST on July 23, 2024 in Enterprise, NV 89178 near neighborhood

Message from Owner: jetty got out of the hse after 9pm monday night. she is extremely friendly but gets nervous and runs from strangers.

Description: freshly groomed, white body with little brown spots and brown spots on her face. she is very skittish but will never bark and never bite anyone
