From breeding. She is a sweet, active dog. She does well with dogs and children.

A story of miracles and resilience. Here is our 3 week old Hattie puppy. She was born 5-7 days premature on Easter Sunday. Hattie went into labor prematurely and the first puppy was born prematurely and as a water puppy which we’ve never experienced before. I stayed with Hattie and was able to deliver 3 more premature puppies. No hair on the face or legs and paws. It was a miracle they actually all were breathing. I worked on them until I heard soft cries after each birth. Hattie had a girl, boy, and then another girl. 130 grams, and the last 2 were 115 grams. Monday and Tuesday we lost the girl and boy. Vet visit with antibiotics for Mom and the vet mouthing to my daughter the remaining wasn’t going to make it. We tube feed and patiently waited and as each day passed it was honestly amazing. We got to week 2 and I thought I think we are there. She didn’t know how to root to nurse. Talking to my daughter who is an OT specialing in feeding we talked how premie babies develop so I compared the milestones with that. My friend Jennifer Taylor gave me encouragement and my daughter, Kylie Abrantes is the tube feeding pro and today marks 3 weeks and we have a thriving puppy. On Easter the Pope passed and I have prayed for a miracle if it could happen. Today is Mother’s Day and I want to share with you Mira which I have named her shortened from miracle. Happy Mothers Day and I hope your day is as special as mine is with a heart full of blessings and joy. I can’t wait to show you Mira’s journey into puppyhood. 🙏🥰
