Reflecting on the Lake Forest Park farmers market today…
Although I didn’t record what I would call record sales today, I feel that I still walked away rich.
I had some great conversations with some fantastic people, got to see some repeat customers ( love you all), and have a great story.
About three weeks ago, a man with a very thick New York accent asked “so what’s this about? Is this for cats?”.
I went through my talk about microgreens and at the end, he walked out with two ounces.
Today, out of my blindside, I hear (seriously, put on your best DiNiro)
“I’m mad at you. Yo, I’m mad at you”
Instantly I recognize him and ask “Why man?”…
“‘Cause a few weeks ago…. I’d never heard of these things… Now, I have to have them.”
Thank you so much to all the people I’ve met since this journey began.
