People always ask if Cane Corsos are good with kids. Let me tell you something my kids don't go outside unless one of our Corsos is with them.
These dogs know to listen to my children just as they would any adult in our family. My kids can hug them, play with them, and be around them constantly, and not once have I ever seen a negative reaction. No growling, no snapping, no raised lip nothing but patience and loyalty.
My kids and dogs have 10 acres to roam, and with the way the world is today, I honestly feel more at ease knowing a Corso is out there with them. They're an alarm system long before danger ever gets close. They know which people and vehicles belong here and which ones don't. They know the property boundaries, and they know when someone is where they shouldn't be.
What's even more impressive is that my kids can walk all of our Corsos. Depending on which child is handling them, that's 40 to 80 pounds of kid leading a dog that could easily outweigh them. Yet the dogs know their manners, respect the leash, and listen.
Of course, every dog is different and training matters, but in our home, our Corsos have been incredible family companions and protectors..

Grizzly ridge isn’t just family owned, it’s veteran owned. My husband served in the Army as a combat engineer. Corsos are great dogs, and even better companions for veterans.
