Duncan was able to continue his streak of meat pen wins. 2 Years in a row for County Fair and this years ISRBA convention. Love the fact his feed company is so supportive.

3 new litters today! A champagne litter and 2 mini rex litters. And to prove genetics play a huge role in who you are...2 blue bunnies make...white?!?!?!

Well the New Zealand reds and the champagnes are coming along....and due to some good timing and a little luck we were able to save this littler of 7 new Zealand blues

Well we ended up not being able to save the litter of Blue New Zealands that were born on the wire sometime today. The boys were upset but they are learning about raising the animals. The good news is that we have 2 healthy litters in the barn today 1 litter of 5 New Zealand Reds and a litter of around 10 Champange D'Argents. Hopefully one more litter of Champagne's in the next day or so then a litter of Mini Rex in a week or so.

Baitz Brother's Bunnies had another good day at ISRBA state convention. Duncan made Team Indiana for Breed ID and will go on to nationals and between the boys they got a Best of Breed and Best Opposite for Champagne D'Argent, a best of Variety and Best Opposite of Variety for New Zealand Red, and 2 Mini Rex Best of Variety (Blue and Black) as well as several 1st place Fur entries. The bunnies and the brothers are all tucked back in here at home for a well deserved rest.

Well we welcomed the first litter of Champagne D'Argents at Baitz Brothers Bunnies tonight. At first check there were at least 3 in the box but the doe is a first time mom so we let her be for the evening. We will check further tomorrow. Excited to have begin the journal of our own line of show rabbits.
